WARNING: Electrical shock hazard

This equipment is powered by single-phase main voltage, as specified on themachine serial tag and data plate.

Always disconnect and lock out the incoming main power source before openingthe electrical enclosure or performing non-standard operating procedures, suchas troubleshooting or maintenance. Only qualified personnel should perform pro-cedures that require access to the electrical enclosure while power is on.

WARNING: Improper installation, operation or servicing mayresult in equipment damage or personal injury.

This equipment should be installed, adjusted, and serviced by qualified technicalpersonnel who are familiar with the construction, operation and potential hazardsof this type of equipment.

All wiring, disconnects and fuses should be installed by qualified electrical techni-cians in accordance with electrical codes in your region.

Always maintain a safe ground. A properly sized conductive ground wire from theincoming power supply must be connected to the chassis ground terminal insidethe electrical enclosure. Improper grounding can result in personal injury anderratic machine operation.

Do not operate the equipment at power levels other than what is specified on thethe equipment serial tag and data plate.

CAUTION: Wear eye protectionWe recommend that you use vacuum air for cleaning filters and other parts of thisequipment. If you use compressed air to clean the equipment, you must wear eyeprotection and observe all OSHA and other safety regulations pertaining to theuse of compressed air.

WARNING: Disconnect power and air sources. Always disconnect the manpower source and compressed air source before installing or servicing this equip-ment. This prevents the equipment from starting during servicing, which couldcause personal injury from flying debris or moving parts.

Your Conair sales representative also can helpanalyze the nature of your problem, assuring that it did notresult from misapplication or improper use.

You can commission Conair service personnel to provide on-site service by contacting the Customer Service Department.Standard rates include an on-site hourly rate, with a one-dayminimum plus expenses.

If you do have a problem, please complete thefollowing checklist before calling Conair:

❒ Make sure you have all model, serial and parts list num-bers for your particular equipment. Service personnel willneed this information to assist you.

❒ Make sure power is supplied to the equipment.

❒ Make sure that all connectors and wires within andbetween loading control and related components have beeninstalled correctly.

❒ Check the troubleshooting guide of this manualfor a solution.

❒ Thoroughly examine the instruction manual(s)for associated equipment, especially controls.Each manual may have its own troubleshootingguide to help you.

WARRANTY

LIMITATIONS

Conair guarantees the machinery and equipment on thisorder, for a period as defined in the quotation from date ofshipment, against defects in material and workmanshipunder the normal use and service for which it was recom-mended (except for parts that are typically replaced afternormal usage, such as filters, liner plates, etc.). Conair’sguarantee is limited to replacing, at our option, the part orparts determined by us to be defective after examination.The customer assumes the cost of transportation of thepart or parts to and from the factory.

Conair warrants that this equipment will perform at orabove the ratings stated in specific quotations covering theequipment or as detailed in engineering specifications,provided the equipment is applied, installed, operated andmaintained in the recommended manner as outlined in ourquotation or specifications.

Should performance not meet warranted levels, Conair atits discretion will exercise one of the following options:

� Inspect the equipment and perform alterations oradjustments to satisfy performance claims. (Chargesfor such inspections and corrections will be waivedunless failure to meet warranty is due to misapplica-tion, improper installation, poor maintenance practicesor improper operation.)

� Replace the original equipment with other Conairequipment that will meet original performance claimsat no extra cost to the customer.

� Refund the invoiced cost to the customer. Credit is sub-ject to prior notice by the customer at which time aReturn Goods Authorization Number (RGA) will beissued by Conair’s Service Department. Returnedequipment must be well crated and in proper operatingcondition, including all parts. Returns must be prepaid.

Purchaser must notify Conair in writing of any claim andprovide a customer receipt and other evidence that a claimis being made.

Except for the Equipment Guarantee and PerformanceWarranty stated above, Conair disclaims all other war-ranties with respect to the equipment, express orimplied, arising by operation of law, course of dealing,usage of trade or otherwise, including but not limited tothe implied warranties of merchantability and fitness fora particular purpose.
