‘Your repair is our care’. Met deze slogan timmert United Pipeline Products hard aan de weg. Als wereldspeler op het gebied van reparatieklemmen voor gas-, olie- en water-leidingen is ons bedrijf in meer dan 50 landen vertegen-woordigd en zijn we de grootste producent van roestvaststalen reparatieklemmen. Onze ambitie is om dé totaalleverancier te zijn in koppelen en repareren van leidingen, zowel boven als onder de grond. Met UNI-Coupling voegen wij een nieuw product toe aan ons uitgebreide assortiment.

Zorg voor de planeet en zorg voor de volgende generatie vinden wij belangrijk. Om deze reden zetten wij hoog in op duurzaamheid en gebruiken wij zoveel mogelijk duurzame materialen in ons productieproces. Veel van onze producten worden gemaakt van roestvaststaal, een product dat 100% recyclebaar is. De verpakkingen van onze producten dragen allemaal het FSC-certificaat. Het bedrijfspand is voorzien van een WKO-installatie. Inmiddels is United Pipeline Products ISO 14001 gecertificeerd. Dit houdt in dat wij milieurisico’s binnen ons bedrijf beheersen en verminderen.

De roots van ons bedrijf liggen in het repareren van drink-waterleidingen. Schoon drinkwater is voor een groot gedeelte van de wereldbevolking geen vanzelfsprekendheid. Vanuit deze gedachte ondersteunen wij Stichting Kleinschalige Afrikaanse Projecten (SKAP). Daarnaast zijn wij sponsor van the Black Jaguar Foundation, een project dat strijd tegen de ontbossing in het Amazonegebied.

As a global player in the repair clamp industry for gas, oil, and water pipelines, our company is present in over 50 countries and we are the largest producer of stainless steel repair clamps. Our intention is to become the overall supplier for coupling products and repair products for pipelines above as well as in ground. With the UNI-Coupling we are adding a new product to our diverse product portfolio.

We strongly believe in the importance of caring for our planet as well as for one another, which includes the future generations that are still to come. For this reason we focus heavily on using as much sustainable materials as possible in all of our production process. Many of our products are made from stainless steel, which is 100% recyclable. Our product packaging is also FSC certificated. As well the establishment itself contains a WKO-installation. United Pipeline Products has also recently been certified with the ISO 14001. Ultimately this helps contribute to United Pipeline Product’s ambition of becoming more environmentally friendly and sustainable.

The company roots are in the reparation of drink water pipeline systems. Clean drinking water is a luxury that many places in the world have yet to be afforded. It is for this reason as well that we support the Stichting Kleinschalige Afrikaanse Projecten (SKAP) foundation. Alongside this we also sponsor the Black Jaguar Foundation, which is a project that aims to protect the Amazon from excessive deforestation.

HUWA International Pipeline Products bv isal 25 jaar een internationale toonaangevendeproducent en leverancier op het gebied vanreparatieklemmen, aftakklemmen, T-stukkenen aanboorzadels.

Voor het gasloos aanboren (m.b.v. polsafe)heeft men het gepatenteerde HUWARVZ zadel in samenwerking met enkelenederlandse gasbedrijven ontwikkeld.

Split Barrel The split barrel repair clamp is used to repair leaking couplings, broken AC couplings and leaking bell joint connections. With the split barrel repair clamp it is possible to repair the pipe without removing the broken coupling. Furthermore it can be easily installed even under rough and wet conditions. No special tools are needed, just a torque wrench. The clamp is suitable for pressures up to 40 bar and on pipes with a diameter up to 1500 mm and length up to 5000 mm.

United Pipeline Products is al meer dan 25 jaar de specialist in het repareren en koppelen van leidingen in het algemeen en drinkwaterleidingen in het bijzonder. Omdat schoon en veilig drinkwater van essentieel belang is voor een menswaardig bestaan hebben wij onze naam verbonden aan de Stichting Kleinschalige Afrikaanse Projecten (SKAP). Deze stichtingrealiseert kleinschalige projecten om veilig drinkwater tegaranderen voor de Afrikaanse bevolking in gebieden waar nog geen of onvoldoende toegang is tot een veilige waterbron.

Één van de projecten bevindt zich in Mabwe-Pande in Tanzania, een gebied ten noorden van de hoofdstad Dar es Salaam.Met een bedrag van € 25.000 ondersteunden wij de bouwvan de watervoorziening voor een dokterspost en een school.

WATERFALL PROJECTIN TANZANIA

Het gebied werd in 2011 getroffen door een grote overstroming. Als gevolg van deze ramp namen de lokale autoriteiten ingrijpende maatregelen, waardoor de geplande opleverdatum niet haalbaar bleek. In maart 2013 brachten wij een bezoek aan het dorp om de voortgang te bekijken. Op dat moment warenwij op de hoogte dat het project vertraging had opgelopen.

Door de overstromingen is het oorspronkelijke plan enigszins bijgesteld. Uiteindelijk bereikte SKAP overeenstemming met de lokale autoriteiten over een andere invulling. In plaats van een extra regenwateropslag voor de dokterspost werden extra sanitaire voorzieningen gebouwd bij de school. Uiteindelijk zijn deze voorzieningen begin 2014 in gebruik genomen en kunnen 5.000 mensen in het gebied gebruik maken van veilig drinkwater en goede sanitaire voorzieningen.

WATERFALL PROJECTIN TANZANIA

United Pipeline Products specializes in repairing and connecting pipes in general and drinking water in particular and has done so successfully for more than 25 years. Being clean and safe drinking water is essential for a dignified existence, we have our name associated with the African Foundation for Small Scale Projects (SKAP) in 2010. This foundation realizes small-scale projects to ensure for theAfrican population in areas where no or insufficient accessto a safe water source safe drinking water.

United Pipeline Products decided in 2010 to commit to a project in Mabwe-Pande in Tanzania, an area north of the capital, Dar es Salaam. With a donation of € 25.000 we supported the construction of the water supply of a medical center and a school.

In 2013 we visited the village to see the progress that had been made on the project. At that time we were informed that the project had been delayed due to a major flood,which had hit the area in 2011. As a result of this disaster, local authorities took drastic measures, which resulted in the project being postponed.

Due to the floods the original plan has been slightly adjusted. SKAP eventually reached an agreement with the local authorities on a different project structure. Instead of an additional rainwater storage for the medical center additional sanitary facilities were built at the school. Ultimately, these facilities were made available for operation in early 2014and 5.000 people in the area are able to make us of thesafe drinking water and proper sanitation.

REPARATIEPRODUCTEN VOORHOGEDRUKLEIDINGEN Een van de doelstellingen binnen onze onderneming is om wereldwijd een van de belangrijkste leveranciers te worden van producten om pijpleidingen te repareren in zowel de water- en gasindustrie als de petrochemische sector.

Voor lagedrukleidingsystemen in de water- en gasindustriezijn we sinds jaren al uitgegroeid tot een toonaangevendefabrikant. Onze groep had echter nog geen geschikt product-programma voor de petrochemische industrie.

In 2008 zijn we daarom een samenwerking gestart met een fabrikant uit Iran van deze producten. Het resultaat van deze samenwerking is de oprichting van een nieuwe productie- en handelsmaatschappij: Romacon Petro BV.

Romacon Petro BV heeft inmiddels een stevige positiebinnen de onshore en offshore petrochemische industrie.Wij verkopen onze producten nu aan veel oliemaatschappijen en aannemers over de hele wereld. Onze reparatie- en aanverwante producten hebben betrekking op de reparatie en aanleg van leidingen met een druk tussen 50 en 250 bar voor (methaan)gas, chemische vloeistoffen en ruwe olie.

One of our goals in the pipeline repair business has been to become a major supplier of all products related to the repair of pipes within the water, gas and petrochemical industries.

We have been a leading global manufacturer of low pressure pipe systems for the water and gas industries for many years. However, until recently we lacked a suitable product program for the petrochemical industry.

For that reason, we began a cooperation in 2008 with an Iranian manufacturer of high pressure pipe repair products. The mission of the Black Jaguar Foundation (BJF) is to help realize the Araguaia Biodiversity Corridor: it will become the longest nature corridor on earth and of South-America’s largest reforestation projects.

85% of all the nature in the corridor zone has already been deforested. Only patches of intact nature are left. The goalof the BJF, together with its partners in Brazil, is to connect these islands of nature with each other by replanting millions of indigenous trees.

The 2 ecosystems in the Corridor-zone are also vital to all of us. As they supply us 20% of the world’s oxygen, filter 30%of all sweet water on the planet and are the resources ofmore than 25% of all modern medicines.

As there are only 600 wild black jaguars left on earth, this magical animal symbolizes the alarming situation of the 2 most important ecosystems on earth: the Cerrado savannah and the Amazon rainforest.

OUR FACTORY

When I was a 14 year old kid I walked into the factory of HUWA International, looking for a job for in the weekends and school holidays. And since that day HUWA has been likea consistent thread in my life.

During my years of different studies and some travelling around the world, there has always been the contact with Twan, Piet and the colleagues of the HUWA family.

In the same time that HUWA took over Romacon, I finished my study . Because of the takeover of Romacon by HUWA, there came a lot of opportunities within this company and I stepped on board in the inside sales department of Romacon.

After several years of experience on the inside sales, I am now moving more and more into the outside sales; taking care of the relationship with our business friends, looking for new business opportunities, visiting/exhibiting exhibitions etc.

The combination of the typical culture that a family company, like United Pipeline Products, has, with being a social guy who likes to be in contact with people, having a wide orientation of different cultures, having a commercial mindset and being a person who likes to travel that I am, makes me feel very comfortable and happy in my current job.

On top of this there lays of course the big challenge of our new company, the UNI-Coupling, which makes me very enthusiastic about the upcoming future of as well as United Pipeline Products as myself.

My name is Kevin, born on 18 February 1984 the town of in Sint-Oedenrode, and I am working in the sales department of Romacon, part of the United Pipeline Products Group.

To tell a little bit about myself: I am living in Sint-Oedenrode, together with my girlfriend and our little daughter. My interests are: sports, (especially football), going out for dinner, drinkinga beer with friends in a pub and travelling around the world.I am playing football myself as well, but also futsal and tennis. Once in a while I go to the gym as well.
