Grandfix Skim Coat 111 Ultra paste skim Smoothing to be mixed with cement
Product Description Is a skim smoothing ultra paste compound specially formulated
to be mixed with cement for rendering and finishing uneven concrete surface and pre-casts concrete panels. When mixed with cement, the products exhibit very good trowel ability application and excellent bond to the concrete surface. It is designed for indoor and outdoor use as a skim smoothing up to
3 mm for walls and ceilings.

Instruction for Use 1. Substrate preparation
Clean the surface and remove any dust, unsound material, plaster, oil, paint, grease, algae, curing compound and traces of foreign materials.
2. Mixing
Stir GRANDFIX SKIM COAT 111 before mixing with cement. Mix 1 (one) part of GRANDFIX SKIM COAT 111 with 0.5 to 1 part of cement until a homogenous paste is achieved. NO water must be added.
3. Application
Apply the mixed GRANDFIX SKIM COAT 111 to the prepared surface using steel trowel up to 3mm thickness. Allow 2 – 3 hours depending on the temperature between coats. Do not proceed with the application when rainfall is imminent unless in a sheltered or protected situation
4. Finishing
Plastic floats maybe used to achieve desired surface texture, but care should be taken not to overworked the surface.

Estimating Data Approximately 0.65 – 0.85 kg/m

Packaging GRANDFIX SKIM COAT 111 is supplied in 25 kg PE pail.
Storage Store in dry conditions in the original, unopened container.
Shelf Life GRANDFIX SKIM COAT 111 has a shelf life of 12 months if
maintained in dry storage conditions in unopened original container.
Health and Safety GRANDFIX SKIM COAT 111 is non-toxic. Wear suitable
protective clothing, gloves and eye protection. In case in contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. If swallowed, seek medical attention immediately – do not induce vomiting.
Fire GRANDFIX SKIM COAT 111 in non – flammable.
