THE GIVER (PG, 97 min)showtimes: Friday, Nov. 7th at 8pm AND Saturday, Nov. 8th at 3pmJeff Bridges and Merryl Streep star in this story of a perfect world where everyone is happy. When Jonas is chosen to be the community’s Receiver of Memories, he learns from “The Giver” about pain, sadness, war, and all the unhappy truths of the “real” world. I ORIGINS (PG, 106 min)showtimes: Friday, Nov. 28th at 8pm AND Saturday, Nov. 29th at 3pmI Origins is being celebrated as one of the best “science vs faith” movies ever made. The story follows molecular biologist Ian Grey and his lab part-ner who aim to prove the evolution of the eye through different species, in effect squashing the belief that the complexity of the human eye is evidence of intelligent design that cannot be explained by science. Their discovery could potentially send shockwaves through the religious world. What might it mean if everything we know of God and the afterlife could be scientifically proven or disproved?

THE MAZE RUNNER (PG, 113 min)showtimes: Friday, Nov. 28th at 6pm AND Saturday, Nov. 29th at 1pmThomas wakes up in an elevator after his memory is erased, and finds himself in a community of boys who have learned to survive in a com-pletely enclosed environment, surrounded by a Maze. In order to es-cape “The Glade” he must join forces with fellow “runners” to find their way through the maze and avoid the Grievers who plague the boys.
