EN GARDE! FOIL/SABRE FENCING (OLYMPIC STYLE)Often described as physical chess, the sport of fencing challenges the mind and body, builds confidence, coordination and physical fitness. The beginner class will introduce basic balance, footwork and posture. We are now offering Sabre Fencing Class instruction which adds cuts to the foil thrusts and parries which has recently become quite popular. Wear soft-soled shoes & loose clothing.

Francois Martineau started dancing at the young age of 11 in Montreal, Quebec and has since worked as a professional dancer and dance

instructor for over 20 years in Vancouver and abroad. Francois now lives in Tofino, B.C. Francois teaches dance classes in such a way that you

really don’t need a partner! Students will work on a rotation system so that everyone learns the dances evenly and to prevent compensation.
