JOC Mission

• To plan, control and conduct military

campaigns, operations, joint exercises

and other activities in order to meet

Australia's national objectives.

Joint Collective Training Authority• Collective Training Vision:

– Joint Collective Training is to be conducted to

enhance ADF force generation and preparation of

the Joint and Combined capability.

– This will be achieved by delivering: timely, realistic

and relevant, joint and interagency training

– All training will be supported by an appropriate LVC

simulation solution

• Services train and certify force elements up to an Agreed Point

• CJOPS responsibility: integration, collective training and certification

over and above the Agreed Point to directed levels required to

undertake operations

• JP3035-2 - will enable Defence to realise a

persistent (available on demand), integrated

and distributed core simulation capability

through the acquisition of a system of

services and products, collectively referred to

as the Defence Synthetic Environment (DSE)
