room.

their English conversation skills, grammar and pronunciation in these

wonderful sessions. Contact Cameron Outterside our Community Liaison

PERCUSSION COURSE FOR YEAR 3 AND 4 STUDENTS Year 3 and 4 percussion classes are now fine-

interesting performance come to life.

Percussion classes are in C4K each Wednesday in

the first half of lunch, with Mr Cameron and Mrs

PARENTS, CARERS AND COMMUNITY AS PARTNERS Our fabulous parent group ran a very successful Father’s Day Stall on Thurs 30th August. All monies

raised will be banked into the PACACP (Parents and Carers as Community Partners) account. As

this fund grows, our parent group will be in a position to purchase necessary items to assist children

in the classroom, playground and in their wellbeing.

Soon our parent group will have a regular segment in our school newsletter, keeping our school

community informed of important activities and crucial information affecting families and the

students. Here are some pictures from our Father’s Day stall.

FATHER’S DAY STALL

Our meeting on Wednesday 5/9/18 @ 9:15am in the C4K room was attended by parents, carers, Mr

Cameron, Mrs Macmillan and Mr Ward. President Shyanne Leolahi led the meeting, which was

attended by parent group Executive and general members.

Plans were made for more fundraising and feedback on events so far was discussed. Mrs Macmillan

and Mr Ward assisted parents/carers as they discussed matters of concern and positive news

concerning our school. Watch Mrs Mac’s report in our newsletter to find out more!

The parent group Executive will begin writing their first article for our next newsletter and this will be

a great step towards effective communication across our community! Please come to our next

meeting and offer your thoughts and opinions – it is on Wednesday 17th October at 9:15am in the

C4K room (Term 4).

Have a great weekend!
