Happy Friends Day! I hope you enjoyed your extra hour of sleep for Daylight Savings Time.
If you are our guest this morning, we welcome you and appreciate you being with us. Please make yourself at home. If you have questions about something in the worship service or would like more information about this church, please don’t hesitate to ask. We are a group of diverse individuals held together by our faith in Jesus Christ, our love for each other, and our desire to be shaped by God’s word. We recognize that we are sinners living in a broken world, but that God—through Jesus Christ—seeks to restore and repair the sin and brokenness in our lives. We have hope, purpose, joy, and salvation through Him, and we want to share that wonderful news with you.
If you invited someone to join you for worship today, thank you! We truly want to be a church that looks outside of ourselves to see and bless the people around us. Today, resist the temptation to seek out familiar faces and talk only to your friends. Look for people you don’t know, introduce yourself, and express kindness to others. Together, let’s EMBRACE our guests.
