ATTENDANCE REPORT: January 21, 2018

One of our favorite nights of the year in the Children’s Ministry will be this Sunday night. It is the annual New Baby Celebration. Every January we celebrate with families who have added a new child to their family in the past year. In 2016 we had 12 new little ones. This year we have 22!

The deacons who work with the Children’s Ministry will introduce each baby and give encouragement to their parents. Then along with the elders, the deacons will surround these families in prayer.

This is not only a time to celebrate these new babies, but also a time to recognize the blessing of being raised in a Christian home with a church family who will support them for the rest of their lives. With each baby born, we give a gift that includes information about our Children’s Ministry, a New Testament, a children’s book, “Oh Little One, God Loves You,” a burp diaper with the Children’s Ministry logo and a beautiful crocheted blanket from Diana Grande. The best gift that the babies receive is to be a part of a church family who prays for them and invests time and energy in their journey of growing up.
