Mustard Seed Communities began in 1978 on the outskirts of Kingston, Jamaica. Initially, it served as a home and school for a handful of children who had been aban-doned. Today, MSC provides residential care to over 400 children and adults in 13 homes across Jamaica. The popu-lations we care for comprise the most vulnerable groups in Jamaican society: children and adults with disabilities, children affected by HIV/AIDS, and young mothers in cri-sis. The vision of the Mustard Seed communities is for each apostolate is to create a loving and caring environment to aid in the physical, mental, and spiritual development of the residents.
The picture above shows the 2018 Mission Team— ‘St. Jambrose’ being part of that vision at Sophie’s Place. It is a beautiful vision of shar-ing and receiving the love and joy of God. The 2018 Team had a great experience and fulfilled their mission well. Thanks and congratulations to all the Team Members (Marie Annunziata, Sophie Bigonette, Christina Chevie, Casimiro Cosme, Emily Cosme, Isabella Hanley, Jillian Hayden, Alexa Hayden, Kenny Otis, Michael Peters, Ellen Rogers, Jack Walsh and especially our Team Captain Katie Haidemenos.) A special thanks is extended to all the Parishion-ers of St. Ambrose and St. James Parish who made this mission experience possible and who
supported our fundraising efforts and prayerfully en-couraged us. May the Good Lord Bless you all!

The FORMED website has a great dynamic Bi-ble study program from the St. Paul Center,
designed to help Catholics grow in their knowledge of the Scriptures while deepening their understanding of the riches of our faith.
The Bible and the Virgin Mary is an exciting twelve-part video series that beautifully ex-plains the Catholic truths about Our Lady,
showing how she has been a part of God’s plan to bring salvation to the world since the begin-
ning of time.
