How the nature of news feed utilization has changed

•November 2011 20-25% of stories generated contained some form of visual content

• By January of 2013, that number has jumped to 50%

• Also, the content of the average news feed is made up of updates from pages and public figures that we follow.

So the news feed is not all about keeping up with friends anymore
