The fact is, there are a lot of successful LDR cases, and there are certain rules or things that the couple can do or follow to help maintaining the LDR. Trust is the most important factor in the long distance relationship. Believe in each other, and stay positive.

Avoid complications.Remain romantic especailly when you two cannot see each other daily.

Plan ahead, and make agreements on how you want your partner to do things. For example, how often do you want the other to call you.

You can use a phone application “Whatsapp” for free texting on Andriod platform.It costs 0.99 US dollars for Apple devices.

Other than just texting, there are also audio messages. “Talkbox” is an free application Apple devices and Anroid platform.

Another choice would be “Jumvo”, which is free on Apple devices.

Such as Facebook video chat ,Skype and MSN.

“Fring” is a free application on iPhone and Andriod platform.

If you have an Apple devices, Facetime is a freat choice as well!

Sometimes the triditional way to comminicate can enhance the LD relationship.A small surprise, sending small presents to each other can surely help the relationship. write up a diary, for a certain period of time, put down things that happned and your feelings. It could be a great gift to your lover.

International text messages can get really expensive sometimes. Yet with technology today, we can always find ways to make it work!
