THE ELITE IFA PROGRAMME

IFA ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:- daily futsal training with our professional and national coaches;- regular competitive games including matches against professional clubs;- bespoke fitness plans drawn up with our international sport scientists; - fitness and conditioning with your gym memberships;- work towards FA coaching qualifications.

The International Futsal Academy (The IFA) is a unique Futsal and Education programme designed to provide a University degree combined with a professional club training programme. The programme not only offers world class education but also the best coaching and sporting facilities in the UK.

THE WORLD CLASS EDUCATIONYou will study at the world class Loughborough College, a partnership college to Loughborough University. Loughborough College has a well established reputation for providing high quality education and training. It is at the forefront of higher education in the UK and provides a learning experience that is both exciting and relevant to your future career.

This world class programme offers many different education pathways that combines the unique world class futsal academy.

HOW THE DEGREE PROGRAMMES WORK

You will spend two years studying for a FoundationDegree in one of various Sports or Business related subjects at Loughborough College, you will then ‘top-up’ this qualification by spending a further year studying towards a BSc (Hons) validated by Loughborough University - the top sporting institute in the UK.

EDUCATION OPTIONS:

The world class programme offers many different education courses in combination with the unique world class futsal training. Education options include:

- foundation Degrees in Sports Science, Sports Management, and Sports coaching, all of which can be topped up to a BSc degree validated by Loughborough University;- foundation Degrees in Business and Management courses which can be topped up to BA degree validated by Nottingham Trent University;- a range of Higher National Diplomas (HND) in many areas leading to degrees;- english language courses and university access foundation courses for overseas students. THE STUDENT ENVIRONMENT

EXAMPLES OF ROUTES YOU CAN PURSUE:- continue into further education, for example, to a Masters or PHD; - use your new skills and knowledge to develop a career in sports science; - a career as a professional or semi-professional futsal or football player;- use your FA coaching qualifications to embark on a career as a futsal or football coach.

ENVIRONMENT

Feeling happy and settled within your environment gives you a much better chance of enjoying your course, your time and the IFA programme. The college offer accommodation to meet all individual requirements, including:

- student halls of residence, including the Elite Athlete Performance Centre;- catered accommodation;- home stays with host families; - private accommodation on various locations around Loughborough.
