    walking away with a 36-35 victory.For the Eagles on the night, Ethan

    Douglas led North Central with 15 pointson the game, while Jordan Reeves added

    9. Also for the Eagles, Adam Knepper and

    Nick Henry put in 4 points and Josh Ro-esener added 3 points in the loss.

    played host to the Liberty center Tigers

    on December 7, falling to the visiting

    Tigers 64-58.

    For the Eagles in the loss, Clayton

    Ferguson led the way, scoring 21 on

    the night, followed by Jordan Reeves

    who dropped in 11. Josh Sawyer had 9

    on the evening while Dylan Hutchison

    followed up with 8. Also on the score-

    board for the Eagles, Brandon Turner

    contributed 5, and Jordan Bailey along

    with Chase Legacy had a bucket in the

    game.

    MONTPELIER In what turned out tobe a brutal night for the hometown Loco-

    motive fans on December 9, the Pauld-ing Panthers took the Montpelier Loco-

    motives to the woodshed by the score of92-25.

    For the Locomotives on the night, Jake

    Leung led the way, scoring 10 going 1 for3 from three point range and hitting on 3

    of his 5 shots from the eld. Also on theboard for the Locos, Parker Houk had 6,

    Nate McCord contributed 3 and MichaelBlake, Jared Shoup and Max Hulbert

    each hit for a bucket on the game.

    EDON The Fayette Lady Eaglestook a road trip on Friday, December6 to take on the Edon Lady Bombers.The Lady Eagles were too much for theBombers, prevailing 64-46 on the stellar

    shooting of Taylor Grifths, who hit for18 on the night.

    As a team, the Lady Eagles were 19of 56 for two point shots and were 4 outof 8 from the three point line. The LadyEagles also shot 14-27 from the line.Fayette also dominated the boards onboth ends of the court, out reboundingEdon 47-28.

    For the Lady Eagles, both KaelaSeiler and Alexis Fruchey dropped in 12points each, while Katelyn Bates added10. Also chipping in on the scoreboardwas Paige Keefer with 5 points, MichaelaBates dropped in 4, and Jessie Wheelerrounded out the scoring with 3 on thenight.

    For the Edon Lady Bombers, KaitlinChrisman led the way on the night with23 points while Bailey Gearhart hit for 8points; Alex Kiess added 7 and KaitlynManahan hit for 6. Kaitlyn Sonnebergerrounded out the scoring for the Lady

    Bombers with 2 points.The victory brought the Lady Eagles

    to 3-1 on the season and 2-0 in the BBC,while the Lady Bombers dropped to 1-4on the season and 0-2 in the BBC.

    Varsity Girls BasketballTHE HOMETOWN HUDDLE

    ANTWERP The Fayette Lady Eagles

    took a long road trip on Saturday, Decem-

    ber 12 to take on out of conference foe Ant-werp, prevailing handily by the score of 47-

    27 on the strength of Alexis Frucheys 14points and Kaela Seilers 13 points.

    As a team, the Lady Eagles were 15 of34 2 point shots and were 17-29 from the

    line. Fayette also dominated the boards on

    both ends of the court, out rebounding An-twerp 31-14.

    For the Lady Eagles, also chipping in

    on the scoreboard was Paige Keefer with 8

    points, Katelyn Bates added 6 while TaylorGrifths logged 5 on the night.

    The victory brought the Lady Eagles to4-1 on the season.

    DELTA The Hilltop Lady Cadets tookto the road on December 10 to take on

    NWOAL opponent Delta. In a close game

    into the fourth, the Lady Cadets fell by thescore of 62-52 to the Lady Panthers.

    As a team, the Lady Cadets were 14 of

    27 for two point shots and were 3 out of

    13 from the three point line. The Lady Ca-dets also shot 15-20 from the line. Delta

    dominated the boards on both ends of thecourt, out rebounding Hilltop 30-18. The

    Lady Cadets also had 19 assists on thenight and committed 14 turnovers in the

    game.

    For the Lady Cadets, Emily Arm-

    bruster led the way in scoring, droppingin 18 points and 8 rebounds, while Kailey

    Kramer and Hannah Bleikamp each add-

    ed 10. Bleikamp also had 4 assists and 4steals on the game. Also chipping in on thescoreboard was Bailey Funkhouser with

    6 points, Destiny Denton added 3 points

    and 7 assists, while Cierra Grant and Kay-la Settlemire added 2 points. JeAnn Joost

    rounded out the scoring with 1 point onthe night for the Lady Cadets.

    The Wauseon Indians Tear Into NWOALSchedule With Wins At Montpelier Quad

    MONTPELIER - The Wauseon

    Indians dominated an NWOAL quad

    meet against Montpelier, Swanton and

    Patrick Henry on December 5.

    The Tribe took care of business, firstby dispatching Swanton by a 66-15

    team score. Patrick Henry fared even

    worse as the Patriots were ambushed

    by the Indians, 84-0.

    No stats were received from

    Montpelier pursuant to this match.

    Wauseon Coach Mike Ritter gave

    his take on the first Wauseon NWOAL

    rumble of the season, saying,

    I thought we came out very aggres-

    sive tonight. We were able to score

    points from every position and really

    capitalize on bonus points in our match-

    es. We had a lot of kids tonight pick

    up their first varsity win. Our veteran

    kids looked like they were in mid sea-

    son form. Im real proud of these kidsbecause they have been working very

    hard since the start of the season.

    emerging the winner of the event.

    Wauseon placed first with 65 points,with Bryan in second and Hicksville in
