Tainted Trials, Stolen Justice

Come see the flaws of the criminal justice system exposed!

Wednesday, March 29, 2006 12:00pm-1:00pm

The Northern California Innocence Project at Santa Clara University will host a panel discussion featuring Fredric Tulsky, author of “Tainted Trials, Stolen

Justice,” and Gerald Uelmen, SCU law faculty. The panel will be moderated by Cookie Ridolfi, Executive Director of NCIP.

The San Jose Mercury News published Mr. Tulsky’s findings of a three year study of Santa Clara County criminal trials in a five part series beginning on January 22, 2006. His findings included many factors that lead to wrongful conviction, including questionable conduct by prosecutors, defense attorneys, trial judges

and the appellate court.
