Free coach pickup from Brisbane Roma St Transit, Beenleigh Transit, Gold Coast Airport, Ballina, Maclean and Grafton, morning tea stop along the way. Continue towards Coffs Harbour, stopping for lunch. This afternoon pick up from Kempsey, Port Macquarie and Taree before arriving at Forresters Beach Resort, home of Terranova Holidays. (Please contact us for group pickups*.) The team will give you a hand with your luggage. Settle in, enjoy bar and dinner in our own restaurant. Sit back, relax and let the fun begin.

After breakfast scenic drive to beach town of Terrigal and the Skillion. Then a visit to Bon Bon Fine Chocolate, the “Mouth-watering sensations that are inspired by international recipes and perfected with a local technique.” Enjoy lunch before our discovery visit to Firescreek Winery (not far from Forresters Beach) which offers boutique fruit, flower and herb wines. Here we will have an “unusual” fruit wine tasting, presentation about the wine making process and a botanical tour of the vineyard. This afternoon coastal explorer before returning to Forresters for happy hour and dinner.

A trip to Tobruk in Sydney which showcases the very best of the Australian Outback. At the sheep station we will enjoy a unique, rustic Australian farm experience. A stockman on horseback will meet us on arrival. We will be guided through interactive and outback shows like working dog show, whip cracking and boomerang throwing show, hilarious duck muster and a live sheep shearing show - full of fun and good old Aussie humour. A delicious lunch to finish the day. A great outing. Back to Forresters for dinner and music.

This morning we will head towards Lake Macquarie, the largest salt lake in Australia and 2 times the size of Sydney Harbour. We then arrive at the beautiful Blackbutt Reserve for morning tea. Blackbutt Reserve has a long history of exhibiting captive wildlife. Experience a close encounter with Australia’s most renowned animal, the koala. Enjoy lunch at Newcastle and take in the views of Nobby Beach, Newcastle Harbour and the surrounds. The old city of Newcastle has been transformed. Take a tour at Fort Scratchley - a former coastal defence installation, now a museum. Back to Forresters Resort for bar and dinner.

After breakfast, heading for the Rocks in Sydney.This is where European settlers chose to step ashore in 1788, making The Rocks the birthplace of modern Sydney. Discover the colonial history of this area which has been transformed from a British colony of convicts, soldiers and sailors into a thriving 21st century entertainment precinct right by spectacular Sydney Harbour. This afternoon join in and celebrate Christmas in July on world’s most beautiful Harbour. Enjoy a delicious lunch onboard Sydney’s premier fleet, accompanied by million dollar views of Sydney Harbour and fascinating commentary. Take a scenic drive after the cruise before returning to Forresters Resort for a light supper.

A trip to Singleton today in the Hunter valley, to visit the Australian Army Infantry Museum. The museum’s collection ranges from the Australia’s pre federation state colonial armies and their first deployments overseas in the 19th century through to today’s 21st century diggers. The museum serves as a mirror to the corps. A great Museum. We then head into Morpeth for lunch and a tour of this historic town. A visit to Morpeth is a journey through narrow laneways and heritage buildings, where we will discover unique shopping, artisan treasures and delightful treats. Return to Forresters for our farewell dinner.

Breakfast before we board our coach. Stopping for a cuppa at Taree, we make our way towards Coffs Harbour for lunch. Our journey today takes us towards Little Italy near Woodburn, arriving home at Brisbane via the coast road. Thanks for travelling with Terranova Holidays and for the memories.
