K/1/2 News
Last term students were learning about the history
of our school. They discovered many interesting
things and learned lots about our school. Some
students would like to share some of the interesting
things they learned throughout the unit.
It was interesting learning about our school many
years ago. Did you know that Mrs McCosker used
to be the Librarian? Did you know that there are
three flagpoles at school now? The garden has been
upgraded by bricks. Kids did not have buses in the
olden days, so some people rode horses to school
and some walked.
By Jim, Dustin and Paige.
We have been learning about our school’s history, it
was interesting. The art room used to be a weather
shed and the office used to be a library. In the olden
days, they did not have cars. I wonder how they got
to school? Maybe they rode horses or walked to
school. The basement has school records and old
furniture in it.
By Chelsey, Annabelle and Hugh.

This week in mathematics, we are learning about

groups. Lots of great cooperation and work taking
place.
We also had royalty in our classroom on Monday –

Chelsey after she won the PBL raffle.
