Hot-Formed armour

Throughformingofhighhardnesssteelstocreatecompleteexternalbodies,internalarmourskinsorcomplexstructures,thisnewsystemdeliversbothsignificantprotectionand weight advantages to the customer. The BLASTech family of products are an affordable, battle-proven and optimisedtechnology from Jankel. Developed to enhance a military platform’s protection,BLASTech increases survivability and decreases severity of injury to the seatedoccupantswhenthevehicleissubjectedtoananti-tankmineorImprovisedExplosiveDevice(IED).

The BLASTech seat range is available as a customised “X-Series” solution or oneof three extensively trialled standard designs: CrewSeat, TroopSeat and “Air-Ride”EngineeringSeat.
