Dear Friends & Members of SSBAISCC,
This year, 2016, was an eventful year for SSBASICC and also for me as we were able to achieve many aspirations of our previous committees. When we started in the beginning of this year, we had a definite plan set for the whole year. It was indeed my pleasure to head this prestigious and vibrant Society with most enthusiastic EC and guiding senior members. We strived hard to make all the academic programs useful and meaningful to everyone. The legacy set by the previous committees in terms of following the punctuality for all the meetings, cashless transactions and paperless communications were accurately
maintained. All the EC and Monthly clinical meetings were conducted in centrally located places convenient to all the members. We made a unique effort to arrange a family get together for the families of our members and it was well appreciated by all. It was our endeavor to make the Mobile App happen for our Society and the company Value Momentum made it a reality without any financial burden to us. The App was extensively used during the CSEP for academic and meaningful interactions.
Whatsapp group for EC Members, PGs and other members of our Society is functioning well for all communications. Prof. B. Hanumaiah Memorial CSEP was well attended and appreciated. All the arrangements during this CSEP were well planned be it clinical cases or lecture topics.
I whole heartedly thank Dr.Venkatachala, Hon. Secretary, for his commitment, support & involvement in all the activities of the Society. I take this opportunity to thank Dr. Rajashekara Reddy, President Elect, other office bearers and all the EC members for their able guidance. I also thank all the Senior Surgeons who guided us, those members who contributed their share of help and finally Mr. Glen Williams and Mr. Kumar who have toiled to make all the programs a grand success.
My special thanks to Dr.C.S.Rajan, Dr. M.R.Sreevathsa and Dr. T.H.Anjanappa and also all the Heads of the Surgery Departments of various Institutions for their active support and participation.
I WISH YOU ALL A HAPPY & PROPEROUS NEW YEAR - 2017. I wish the incoming President Dr.Rajashekar Reddy and his team a very successful tenure.
I take this opportunity to thank all the honorable members of the surgical society of Bengaluru for reposing faith in me by electing as the President for the year 2017.
The time for baton change is fast approaching. I am fully conscious of the fact that this chair was occupied by many eminent surgeons and teachers in the past. I have studied from Bengaluru medical college and have seen and associated with the activities of SSBASICC from 1995 onwards. I will promise to do all it takes to keep up the poise of the fellow colleges and students.
I seek your valuable guidance and suggestion at every step/activity of my tenure to succeed and take our organization to renewed level.
I wish you, family and friends very happy new year 2017 and let's prosper together for better India.
Message from the President Elect
From the Desk of the President
Wish you a very happy and a prosperous New Year 2017
