10/100 Ethernet/Fast Ethernet SwitchingSuperStack II Switch 3300XM: The lowest priceper port member of the SuperStack II Switch 3300family provides an excellent entry point if yourbusiness is beginning to implement 10/100switching.

SuperStack II Switch 3300MM: A cost-effectiveswitching solution when combining more thantwo SuperStack II Switch 3300s together, using anintegrated matrix module, to create one virtualswitch of up to 110 switched ports that can bemanaged as a single entity with a single IP address(or multiple IP addresses for added resilience).

10/100/1000 Ethernet/Fast Ethernet/Gigabit EthernetSwitchingSuperStack II Switch 3300TM and SuperStack IISwitch 3300SM: Both switches feature an extraGigabit Ethernet port on the front panel for easyaccess. Use the 3300TM to reuse your existingcopper-based infrastructure to implement GigabitEthernet. Use the 3300SM for a fibre-based infrastructure. The SuperStack II Switch 3300SMfeatures a 1000BASE-SX MT-RJ port on the front panel.

All switches include:• Compact 1U high box (reduces unit height by

• Policy enforcement with Fast IP, IGMP snooping,IEEE 802.1D (incorporating 802.1p prioritiza-tion), and IEEE 802.1Q standards-based VLANs

• Dual queues to help prioritize multimedia traffic

• Multicast filtering using IGMP snooping/GMRPfor more efficient bandwidth utilization for han-dling video traffic

• Elastic port buffering for on-the-fly port buffermemory allocation, enabling automatic perfor-mance optimization based on network traffic

• Standards-based flow control to maximize performance and minimize packet loss underheavy network loading

• Trunking support to aggregate links into asingle high-speed connection to other switchesor backbone networks

• Automatic detection of full-/half-duplex opera-tion on all ports to maximize performancewithout manual configuration

• 24 10/100 ports with autosensing on all ports toadjust automatically to the speed of the attacheddevices

• Web-based monitoring and control system,embedded Remote Monitoring (RMON) and3Com Transcend Network Supervisor, enablingauthorized administrators to troubleshoot andconfigure a switching stack from any location
