for kids today

please pray for ➢ All those in our congregation dealing with loss, loneliness, feelings

of unworthiness, sadness, broken relationships, sorrow, financial hardship, illness. At this time of year when many people feel sadness in an acute way, may God reach into their lives and hearts and bring hope and healing.

Are you, or is someone you know, going through a crisis?

These crises happen in all our lives, at one time or another. They include

things like depression over the loss of a job, grief at the death of a loved

one, the necessity of hospitalization, the birth of a child. When a crisis

comes, it is helpful to have someone who cares for you. Our congregation

has trained 8 lay people who offer a ministry of Christian caring for

those in need and will have another 3 lay people commissioned as

Stephen Ministers in the very near future. When a crisis happens, think

about making use of their ministry. Please contact one of the

coordinators, Wendy Treble (cell 306-581-5363) or Bob Erwin (cell 306-

533-8514) if you would like to have some time with a Stephen Minister. If

you would rather send a request via e-mail, go to our website

westhillchurch.ca. Brochures are also available at the Information Desk.

For those who are unable to drive to church on a Sunday morning and

wanting to attend our service, we provide a bus service at no charge.

Please contact ‘Where 2 Transportation’ at 306-522-4477

early in the week to make arrangements.

Dedication by the Church

As your faith community, we support you as you bring this child of your love

and the love of your Heavenly Father. As you commit your child and

yourself to the Father, we commit ourselves to you, to support, to

encourage, to pray and to take an active part in the nurturing of this young

life. As God is our witness, we receive this child in love, and promise to be

unto your child, father, mother, brother, sister and friend.

Along with parents, grandparents and extended family, we are excited to share in the dedication service of Daniel John, son of Rob & Nicole Nelson. Daniel just celebrated his 1st birthday on Friday! May they experience God’s rich blessings as they enjoy the adventures of parenthood and continue to

seek God’s guidance in their journey.
