the new morphing function of the straumann® cares® visual software derives the missing chewing surface from a single-tooth template, leading to a realistic tooth restoration. the single tooth template can be mirrored directly from the functional opposite jaw quadrant.* this technology can be used for a wide range of applica-tions such as inlays, onlays, veneers and partial crowns.

so far, the data needed is usually derived from a tooth database by using methods of statistical analysis. the larger the database, the better the results obtained. with the new morphing function straumann offers a different and innovative approach.
