December 17—Third Sunday of Advent All of the people in today’s readings—the prophet Isaiah, the Virgin Mary, St Paul, St John the Baptist—seemed to under-stand clearly and rejoice in that God was calling them to be and to do. Do I?

STEWARDSHIP IN ACTION.

This weekend's first reading uses the images of a wedding. Are you married to the idea of the Lord entering your life

and heart? "May the God of peace make you perfectly holy and may you entirely...be preserved blameless for the com-ing of our Lord Jesus Christ."

☺ Ministers, Lectors, Altar Servers & Greeters ☺ Please let Cindy know availability for the January/February schedule as soon as possible. Please email, call or drop a note in the office.

Heavenly Father, the source of creation and love, You invite each of us to serve you through the life which is your gift. May your grace en-courage men and women to heights of holiness through service to the church as priests, sisters,

brothers and lay ministers. Amen
