MASS TIMES:
THIRD SUNDAY OF EASTER
The disciples in today’s Gospel came to know Jesus in the breaking of the bread. When we share what we have with those who are in need, we too, will discover Jesus in our midst.

For the secular world, Easter has come and gone; IT’S
OVER! But it is not over for Christians, and definitely not
for RCIA. This period of the RCIA process during the
Easter season is called Mystagogy, because in the early
history of the Church, pagans called the Sacraments
“mysteries”. The church borrowed the term Mystagogy
which meant “leading through the mysteries”. It is the
period in which we should continue to celebrate Easter and
the Resurrection. We didn’t just prepare spiritually for
Easter Day; we were preparing for a new way of life. And
that is exactly what our RCIA Neophytes will be doing
during this stage of their faith journey. We will delve
deeper into all the mysteries of our faith, to gain a deeper
love of Jesus and a greater understanding of His gifts to us -
and how we can use those
gifts in His discipleship.
For information on
RCIA, please call The
Faith Formation Office
433-2777 x138.
Sergio Bernier, 857-0365.
