Thanks to Mrs. Hussey and her volunteers, families enjoyed the Fun Run, entertainment, games, food, a student auction, and an exciting closing with the Manatee High School Drumline! Thank you for supporting our Book Fair! Thank you to Mrs. Jarvis and her volunteers for providing our recent Book Fair for our students. It was an exciting week. Students were seen all over campus with books in their hands and reading! We appreciate this opportunity to build such enthusiasm for learning and sharing books.

(Don’t forget: You can shop online at http://bit.ly/PAWSBookFair until March 27)

Raffle Ticket Update

Thank you for such a good beginning to our Raffle Tickets Sales! Last Friday, fifty-one students had their names entered into the student drawing for achieving $100 or more in ticket sales. Thirty-nine students participated in our Cookie Decorating Party for meeting or exceeding their goal to sell $500 or more in tickets! We are grateful to these students and all of our parents for your support!

Our next student gift card drawing will be held on Wednesday morning following prayer in the courtyard. All ticket sales must be submitted to the office by 8:15am Tuesday morning. Any tickets received after that time will be entered into our next drawing.

Please make sure you have picked up your tickets to sell during Spring Break. All families, except for VPK only families, are required to sell $500 in tickets. This allows us to keep our tuition at the current level. We need the help and support of all of our families working together!

We still have some available volunteer opportunities to sell tickets during April at several of our parishes. Please visit our website at www.sjsfl.org and choose the “Volunteer Opportunities” link on our homepage. Our pastors are kind enough to give us opportunities to sell at their parishes, let’s make sure we have all of the volunteers spots filled. We appreciate your help with this important fundraiser for our school.

Please contact the school office if you have questions about these scholarship programs. Because of the increasing demand for these scholarships, the funding goes quickly.
