Please join us TODAY at 3:00 in the sanctuary to enjoy the Sonoran Bells Concert. This event is free and open to the public. Please bring neighbors, friends, and family.

FLOWERS! Have you thought about placing flowers up at the altar? Now is your chance! We have 2 upcoming dates in that need to be filled, April 28th and May 5th. Sign up cards are in the Narthex. Once you have chosen your date, have the flowers to the church office by 4:30 on the Friday before your chosen date. Then sit back and enjoy along with everyone!

Come join the Chronic Illness/Pain Group this Wednesday April 10th as we assemble and sign Easter cards for all of our homebound, those recovering at home, and current parishioners facing surgery. We will meet in Fellowship Hall from 10:30-noon. Questions? Call April @ see directory.

Family Ministries invites you to join us for our Community Easter Celebration on April 13th from 9-12. Bring the whole family and friends for crafts, activities, train rides and more. Admission is $3 per child. For questions contact Rachel in the church office.

Cupcake donations are needed for our Community Easter event on April 13. If you are willing to bake some cupcakes for the cupcake walk please contact Rachel in the church office. [email protected].

In honor of Earth Day (April 22), St. Mark’s Youth decided that their April Mission project would benefit the Earth…and us all! Every Sunday during April, the youth will be collecting plastic grocery bags. These bags cannot be recycled in your curbside recycling, so we would love to help you (and the Earth!) out. Please bring your empty plastic grocery bags to church in April, and leave them in the designated collection bin in the courtyard. The Youth Council will then take these to be recycled. Thank you!

The Open Minds Book Discussion Group will meet next on Friday, April 26 at 9:30 in the library. We’ll be discussing the Accidental Saints by Nadia Bolz-Weber and Fierce by Alice Connor.

A Matter of Balance! New class starting at St. Mark’s April 29 thru May 20th, Monday and Wednesday’s 9:00-11:00am. Please call PCOA to register 520-305-3410. The program is designed to benefit older adults who are concerned about falls, have sustained falls in the past, restrict activities due to falling, as well as many more benefits! $20 per person or $30 per couple.

Are you considering membership at St. Mark’s? Would you simply like to know more about this terrific church? “Membership 101” will take place on Sunday, May 5th from 12:30 – 2:00 PM in our church library. Register on-line or call the church office. Childcare provided on request.

Caring for our Kids continues! Please come by the board today to sign up to bring snacks for Vacation Bible School, be a VBS shepherd, or Sunday school helper. Thank you for caring for our kids! Holy Yoga Scheduling Notice: Due to some life changes Ester will be unable to teach Holy Yoga classes on Thursday. Please keep your eyes open for future Yoga opportunities!

Soda Machine Notice: Our soda machine has been moved to the Welcome Center to make room for the new freezer.

Our current Admin. Assistant, Janie Towne, has announced her plan to retire at the end of May. Effective immediately, St. Mark’s is seeking an experienced person to fill this very important position. This part-time job (25-30 hrs. a week) includes front-office administrative responsibilities as well as working with new members and the Church Growth and Hospitality Committee. Ideally, the candidate will be available for hire the first week of May. Interested candidates may review the job description on our website (Job Opportunities) and submit a cover letter with resume to [email protected]. If you have questions, please contact Ruth Kester (520-297- 2062) at the church office.
