St . Boniface School Parent Newsletter August 2018 Welcome to St. Boniface Catholic School! You, as a parent, have the primary moral responsibility of educating your child to adulthood. Here at St. Boniface, we are an extension of your family by providing a distinctive Catholic Franciscan education. St. Boniface School is a place where faith, culture and life are brought into harmony. Your child is a unique image of God, and all dimensions of literature, art, math, music and science, including spiritual, physical and social development are important to the wholeness of your child. School is a place of challenges. Yet every child can enjoy success through the cooperation of parents, students, and teachers. It is our goal that your child delights in learning in order to be a good, intelligent citizen of this world and strives to become a saint. St. Boniface School Faculty and Staff Pastor Rev. Fr. School Begins at 8:00 A.M.

School Ends at 3:00 P.M.

Students may arrive at school no earlier than 7:30 a.m. They wait quietly on the stairs and visit with their friends. When the first bell rings at 7:50, the students go to their classroom, unpack their belongings and begin their “morning work”. At 8:00 the second bell rings and class promptly begins.

Morning work usually consists of a math problem and an English sentence. Each child is responsible for this ten minute assignment.

Every Monday, school ends at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, school ends at 3:00 p.m. When the students are dismissed, the car riders wait behind the fence. Students walk to the car after it is parked. Families with children at St. Mary School and St. Boniface School should pick up the younger children first at St. Mary's and then come to St. Boniface. There will be supervision for 30 minutes after dismissal in the school office. Parents must come into school.
