Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the
full product? Since the preliminary task, I feel that I have learnt a good substantial amount of material. My magazine (in my opinion) is pretty good, and if I was a retailer, I would definitely buy it! But seriously, from the previous task, I have learnt how to sample colours more effectively to match skin tones, etc. For example, in my preliminary magazine, I mainly used my covergirl’s face for my colour samples. Since then, I have been using colour sampling and I have recently learnt how to adjust the temperature of a colour (lighter to darker). Click

Use of technology improvements
• Adobe Technology (Ps and InDesign) – I had a basic knowledge of adobe from core art in years 7 – 9 so I was partially able to understand everything.
• iPhone 5c – I knew how to work my phone’s camera, I also had a good understanding on how to use the filters and third party apps to enhance the look of the picture.
• Adobe Technology (Ps and InDesign, Illustrator) – I feel that I learnt much more, as well as from the classes, I also attended a mini seminar to consolidate my knowledge of the technologies.
• DSLR Camera – learning how to use the DSLR camera was really cool. Spending time in the studio was really good.
