Submission deadlines for printing of the

bulletin are set by the bulletin publisher. In order for us to meet those deadlines, all requests for

publications must be into the Church Office 14 days

ahead of the requested bulletin date.

This is most important during the Holiday

Season, as submission deadlines are shorter than normal due to office closings.

To help make your Bulletin more accurate and in-

formative, please adhere to the 14 day policy. If not

submitted on time, your information

cannot be included in the bulletin.

The Giving Tree Helping Those in Need

The Altar Rosary is sponsoring the Giving Tree again this year.

A Christmas tree will be placed in front of the Adoration Room on November 21st, with “Angels” containing names of residents at nursing homes and for the Carmelite Sisters. The Angels will also contain a suggestion for a gift that you might purchase. Bring the Angel and the WRAPPED GIFT to the Parish Office the week of December 10th through 14th so we have enough time to distribute the gifts to the various places. We hope our whole parish will participate to make this a Blessed Holiday Season for the aged, the infirm, and for our faithful nuns. If you have any questions, please call Dorothy Teale at 281-547-8790 or Betty Palmer at 281-255-6759.

Thank you for your support and have a wonderful Christmas Season!

ADORATION AWARENESS

“Come to me, all you who labor and are bur-

dened, and I will give you rest." – Matthew 11:28

The month of November is dedicated to the Holy

Souls in Purgatory. We can help the poor Souls in

Purgatory by spending time with Jesus in adoration

and gaining an indulgence for them.

The Handbook of Indulgences states:

“A partial indulgence is granted the Christian

faithful when they visit the Blessed Sacrament for the

purpose of adoration. When this is done for at least

half an hour, the indulgence is a plenary one.”

“Beside the exclusion of all attachment to sin, even

venial sin, the requirements for gaining a  plenary

indulgence are the performance of the indulgenced

work and fulfillment of three conditions: sacramental

confession, eucharistic communion, and prayer for

the pope’s intentions."

- Handbook of Indulgences – Third Edition.

Spend time with Jesus in adoration and this month offer your time with Him for the Holy Souls in Purgatory who Jesus loves very much. More adorers are needed and are always welcome. Adoration is available for all at the scheduled times. If you would like to sign up for a weekly Hour of adoration, please contact: Kathryn Dawson (281-351-0571) or Marty Lang ([email protected] )

Join the prayer group every Third Thursday of the month from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Church to pray as a group for the sick and suffering of our parish in addition to praying for an end to abortion and the victims of abortion. A Scriptural Rosary (led by our Acolyte John Sudkamp) with Scripture from the New Testament will be prayed. This is followed by praying the Divine Mercy Chaplet. Please join us and invite your family and friends. For more information, please contact Kathryn Dawson at (281) 351-0571.

BAZAAR PARKING PLACES

Imagine your disappointment of finding your designated parking place at Church being used by someone else. Each year people who come to the Bazaar have the opportunity to bid on and purchase a parking space when they attend Sunday Mass which lasts for a whole year. The people who won the parking spaces literally paid THOUSANDS of dollars to have the privilege of a personal parking space reserved for the Mass they attend. PLEASE HONOR THOSE SPACES for the people who supported St. Anne in this way. We ask that you respect their donation to our Bazaar by NOT parking in any assigned space. Thank you so much for your support, gen-erosity, and cooperation. Additionally, please respect hanicapped and striped “no parking” spac-es.

Please pray for the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of the following: Emelina Guillen Rosalie San Andres Ruthie DeNina Ruby Barrows Maria O. Vargas Mark Anthony Luna Honorato Martinez Edward McCormack Norma Jean Petrzelka Herb Tomshe Jack Collins Dorothy Walkus
