The Law Offices of Justin G. Morgan, P.A. recently made a recovery of $122,500.00 for a client after what appeared, on its face, to be a minor automobile accident, which occurred in a parking lot.

Our client had previously retained another law firm, and was not happy with the way the case was being handled by the prior attorneys. Our firm was retained, and we immediately reviewed all of the challenging issues in the case, including extensive medical treatment received by our client as a result of the accident, and that our client had significant preexisting conditions for similar injuries as was sustained in the automobile accident.

Upon conclusion of our client’s medical treatment, we submitted a settlement demand package to the at fault party’s insurance company, to which no offer was made. Not being deterred by the stonewalling of the insurance company, our firm filed suit even though the case was very challenging. After extensive litigation, and before trial, the case settled for $122,500.00, when at the outset of presentation of the claim, the defendant’s insurance company offered $0.00.
