It’s May again. The days are longer and so much warmer. Time to get outside and take advantage of everything that
Mooredale has to offer. May would not be May without Mayfair, and we all look forward to another great event this year. This month also marks the start of many outdoor sports and recreational programs. Of
course, there will be soccer, softball and lacrosse, but it will also soon be the time when we can all walk down to the back of the parking lot and consider going for a swim at the Pool Club. There are just so many events and programs at Mooredale this time of year. While I hope that you and your families will participate in these activities, I would also encourage you to consider volunteering. Mooredale’s success is grounded in the efforts and enthusiasm of so many dedicated volunteers. While there are a lot of fun Mooredale teams at Rosedale Park, I think you’ll soon discover that nothing beats being on a Volunteer Team.

Pool Notes Kedrin Case CHAIR, SWIMMING POOL CLUBON BEHALF OF THE SWIMMING POOL CLUB EXECUTIVE
It’s Mayfair time again! And what happens just ONE week later? If you answered the start of the 2018 pool season, you would be absolutely correct! The pool indeed opens
bright and early Saturday, May 19. We’re putting the final touches on our programs for the upcoming season. Additionally, we have made some wonderful improvements to the pool and pool area. While some of the improvements are less visible like our fabulous new pool filter, others will be strikingly obvious like the beautiful new fence & diving board. Come take a peek and a dive! Mooredale continues to offer a variety of programming to suit our members. If you enjoy exercising in the water with an instructor to lead, please note that Aquafit is returning and Flex passes are available for the season. Did you know we also offer Bronze Star, Medallion and Bronze Cross courses too? Pool members also have priority for group lessons until May 16, 2018. Starting May 17, group lesson registrations are accepted on a first come-first served basis and are available to all current Mooredale members. Mooredale also offers private and semi-private lessons for all ages. As always if you have any comments or suggestions regarding our programs or how we run the pool, please contact the Pool Manager Ellen Harper, ([email protected]). Also, if you can’t wait to say hello to the lifeguards and pool management team, they will be at Mayfair looking after our first aid needs. Drop by the first aid tent and say hi. See you in the pool. Join us now at Mooredale pool – our own little oasis in the city! Contact info changed? Please let us know! If your contact info or address has changed, contact Catherine right away and we will make sure you receive your renewal package. ([email protected] or 416-922-3714 ext 102).
