Wave Riders Support Program for Grieving Children SARATOGA SPRINGS – The Community Hospice of Saratoga offers a six-week support group for children, Grades K-8, who have experienced the death of someone signifi cant in their lives, including a parent, grandparent, sibling or friend. Children meet in age specifi c groups, sharing thoughts and feelings using art, music, games and discussion. Parent Educational Support Group is offered concurrently. Recycling Program at SCCHSSARATOGA SPRINGS – Saratoga Central Catholic High School has announced the creation of a Bottle Recycling Program at their school, located at 247 Broadway in Sarato-ga Springs. The “Green Monster,” as the collection shed has been named, is located in the back parking lot of the school, off of Hamilton Street. The concept for the program was rec-ommended by the Spa Catholic Booster Club, and the project was brought to fruition through the combined efforts of par-ents, staff and students, and alumni. Glass, metal, and plastic returnable containers can be deposited through the trap door of the Green Monster. The money raised will go to support the sports teams at Spa Catholic and enhance the experience of the students, alumni, and fans of Spa Catholic sports.
