Thanks to the generous support from our sponsors, Club Canada Thailand’s Snowball 2015 at

the Four Seasons Hotel on March 14th was a resounding success!

Proceeds from the silent auction, raffle, and ticket sales will be donated to worthy charities

supporting the needy in Thailand.

The evening of Winter Wonderland Magic began with an elegant cocktail hour during which

guests posed for professional souvenir photos provided through the courtesy of Rajawongse

Clothier By Jesse & Victor. Guests also had the opportunity to bid on the silent auction’s wide

array of fine jewelry, framed art, and quality oriental carpets, as well as purchase raffle tickets

for a chance to win some wonderful raffle prizes, all donated by our generous sponsors.

When the ballroom doors opened, gala guests were delighted by a “SNOW storm” in the

archway which they were invited to brave. At the stunning ice bar, in addition to fine wines

and liquors, partiers could enjoy donated Canadian BorEAlis Iceberg Beer, made in Newfound-

land from crystal clear iceberg water.

As guests dined on appetisers of salmon tartar served on ice, a stream of door prize winners

picked up their prizes. Later in the evening, CCT President Kirstin Lamoureux officially

welcomed VIP guests, including His Excellency Canadian Ambassador Philip Calvert. She

then invited sponsors attending the gala to draw the names of prize winners and present their

prizes. Harpist Chiara Capobianco performed for guests as they dined. After enjoying a gourmet

dinner, gala guests danced the night away to the music of The Bangkok Cousins Band before

picking up successful bids in the Silent Auction and copious prizes from the Snowball Raffle.

Happy winners were thrilled to receive prizes such as air tickets, luxury hotel packages,

car rentals, restaurant vouchers, beauty & spa treatments, home decor items, tailoring, department

store & supermarket vouchers, and rounds of golf, to name but a few.
