Slavonski Brod
The City of Slavonski Brod, the seventh city in Republic of Croatia by size has 62 770 inhabitants. It is situated between the rivers Sava and Dilja and surfaces 54,45 square kilometres. It is a very old settlement. 2000 years ago, the Roman Marsonia was on its place. The important geographical position significantly influences its development and economy.
The most important road, the highway Zagreb - Lipovac that connects the European countries with Near East and further, goes through Slavonski Brod, while a construction is planned of an international highway E-73 Budapest - Beli Manastir - Osijek - Slavonski Brod - neighbouring Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina ending in Ploče.
A railway line that connects Western Europe with East significantly determines the city's development both from spatial and economic point of view.
As it has been already stated in the introduction, the city is geographically situated on important roads railway, highway, the river Sava, and it also has a sport airport. Beside all these characteristics of a traffic and transit centre, it has the characteristics of a borderline city. Precisely that fact had for its consequence the development of the city as multicultural and multiethnic centre in this part of Croatia.
The arrival of the ancestors of the present inhabitants of the city and the county enriched this city with culture, tradition, language and knowledge in certain crafts and industrial branches, which had been in the past, and they are still even today, the foundation-stone of this town's industry. Those are: wood industry, agricultural and food industry as well as communal activity.

the European Championships for Majorettes which will be held in Slavonski
Brod, Croatia, from 2nd to 5th October, 2014.
Besides hotel booking arrangements, travel agency APP will gladly organize any
bus/coach transfer your group might need for this occassion.
APP has its own vehicle fleet of 110 high-class vehicles with a wide range of capacity

COMPANY INTRODUCTION
APP is one of the leaders in passenger bus transport in Croatia. Founded in
1946 as one of the pioneers in the road passenger transport, APP today has a
bus fleet of 110 high quality vehicles and 265 skilled employees,
celebrating its sixty-fifth anniversary of existence and work.
The company has its head office in Požega and an extended network of its
branch-offices spreading along East and Central Croatia and Dalmatia.
SUPPORT FACILITIES
We successfully manage six bus terminals in Croatia (Zadar,Osijek,
Slavonski Brod, Požega, Pakrac and Nova Gradiška), connecting inland with
other Croatian regions.
APP has a modern vehicle repair and maintenance center in Požega
(12.000 m2), where preventive check-ups are performed daily in order to meet
and sustain high standards in terms of passengers´ safety and service quality.
We also provide commercial maintenance of vehicles for the third parties.
BUS FLEET
APP has a bus fleet of 110 high quality vehicles, mostly Setra and
Mercedes, covering the range from 16 to 78 seats (mini-buses, midi-buses,
coaches, double-deckers).
A special attention is paid to the renewal of our transport fleet on a yearly
basis.
The average age of our coaches is under 5 years which puts our fleet among
the youngest and the most modern at Croatian market.
TOURISM
In addition to our core-business (passenger bus transport), APP is very active
and successful in the field of tourism providing a array of tourist services
through its travel agencies APP TURIZAM in Požega, Osijek, Slavonski Brod
and Zadar.
