EMILY’s List, the nation’s largest financial resource for women candidates, is in search of a Senior Director Campaigns, Federal & Gubernatorial to join our Campaigns team. Throughout our 29 year history, EMILY’s List has recruited and trained over 9,000 women to run, worked to elect over 100 pro-choice Democratic women to the House, 19 to the Senate, 11 governors, and over five hundred women to state and local office. Since its founding in 1985, EMILY’s List helped elect 97% of the Democratic women of color in Congress, including every single Latina, African American, and Asian American Democratic woman currently serving.

Principal Responsibilities The Senior Director Campaigns, Federal & Gubernatorial manages the strategic planning, implementation of Federal and Gubernatorial recruitment, training and campaigns programs. Specific Duties

Manage and supervise Campaigns, Federal and Gubernatorial staff and consultants;

Make recommendations of potential candidates for endorsement to the President and Executive Director;

In consultation with the VP, Campaigns, plan and oversee implementation of EMILY’s List short- and long-term political programs as they directly relate to candidates and campaigns;

Responsible for all data, analytics and institutional tracking of candidate, campaign, and other relevant information;

Participate and collaborate in the activities of the Training program, including the job bank;

Working with VP, Campaigns, develop and monitor the budget for federal and gubernatorial campaigns related work and contributions;

In consultation with the VP, Campaigns, make decisions related to the priorities of the Campaigns Department;

Seek opportunities and develop efforts to increase diversity of candidates, campaign-related staff, and the campaigns team;

Provide thought leadership around and opportunities for continued professional development and training of campaigns team;

Develops Campaigns, Federal & Gubernatorial staffing plan;

Serve as point of contact for key external vendors, contractors and other stakeholders;

Work closely with the Executive Director and other Senior Directors on relationship building with incumbents and engagements with newly elected officials;

Qualifications

The Sr. Director Campaigns, Federal & Gubernatorial must have at least seven years of campaign and electoral experience, must have extensive managerial experience, and a strong interest in electing pro-choice Democratic women to office. The Sr. Director Campaigns, Federal & Gubernatorial should have strong communication and cognitive skills, and an ability to assess candidate races and implement political programs. Candidates must know how to manage a budget. Creativity is a plus.

Principal Responsibilities The EMILY's List Western Regional Director, State & Local is a senior position within the Campaigns Department. The Western Regional Director, State & Local oversees the efforts of EMILY's List's Political Opportunity Program (POP) in the Western region of the country. Special Assistant/Scheduler

EMILY’s List, the nation’s largest financial resource for women candidates, is searching for a Special Assistant/Scheduler to the President. Principal Responsibilities The Special Assistant manages the President’s office and the strategic planning of the President’s schedule, including extensive travel. This position also manages the information flow to and from the President’s office and works with every department in the organization to ensure that the President has all relevant information in a timely manner. This position develops and implements a system for answering a heavy volume of correspondence and telephone calls and works with other departments to develop long and short term scheduling plans for the President.

Specific Duties

Manage President’s schedule and provide overall administrative support;

Arrange travel logistics and produce itineraries;

Work with other departments to implement short-term and long-term schedule for President; make recommendations for travel options and schedule pro-actively with other departments;

Manage scheduling and logistics for all major donor and political meetings and travel and work with Development staff to plan major donor meetings and travel;

Specific Duties

Work with the Digital Director and Designer to create compelling, action-driving content for Facebook, Twitter, and other social media platforms that reinforces the EMILY’s List brand; amplifies our daily/weekly message; and raises our candidates’ profiles;

Plan and manage an editorial calendar to ensure accounts are updated with branded content each day (or more frequently, depending on the platform);

Recognize great hooks and political moments that will move people to take action;

Run campaigns with an eye toward growing our social media audiences and turning them into online activists and donors;

Qualifications Candidates for this position must be self-directed, politically savvy, and love the internet. They should have a year of experience in digital, preferably in a political or non-profit organization and be fluent in Twitter, Facebook, and whatever third platform you think we’re crazy not to be using every day. Familiarity with web analytics and basic technical skills, including familiarity with HTML, are a plus. Candidates should be able to handle multiple projects at once, work well under deadline, and understand that the internet (and social media, in particular) isn’t a Monday to Friday, 9 to 6 kind of job.

Stand for Children seeks an exceptional professional to build and manage the statewide political program in Arizona and represent the voice of Stand for Children in the state capitol with legislators and stakeholders. The Arizona Government Affairs Director will report to the Arizona Executive Director and will be based in Phoenix. Responsibilities will include: Advocacy and Direct Lobbying:

• Analyzing relevant legislation and policy proposals, in conjunction with national and the Arizona Policy Manager, to determine alignment with Stand for Children’s policy platform, What We Stand For;

• Lobbying relevant stakeholders to advocate for Stand-supported policies and initiatives; • Building and joining coalitions of partner organizations to develop and implement policy initiatives and

achieve campaign successes that create results for all children; • Planning and working closely with Stand for Children staff to drive statewide education and engagement

campaigns to develop understanding of and support for effective education reform policies; • Partnering with the Arizona Policy Manager to provide training around statewide policy initiatives as

needed to Stand for Children Organizers as well as members and stakeholders; • Building and cultivating effective partnerships with legislators on both sides of the aisle, education leaders,

Policy Development and Implementation:

professional to serve as National Press Secretary. As the leading accountability and political

environmental group, the National Press Secretary will position LCV and our issues at the forefront

Increases the capacity for local unions’ organizing programs by working with local unions

to develop alternative and effective operation systems, representation models and member

General Description:

LCV works to turn environmental values into national, state and local priorities. LCV, in collaboration with our state
