• National Integration: pendidikan seni diarahkan untuk menawarkan program pendidikan dan penelitian serta kekaryaan seni
yang bersifat lintas bidang ilmu, lintas budaya, lintas wilayah, lintas negara.
• Globalization: internasionalisasi kurikulum, internasionalisasi standar profesi, kekaryaan dan mutu.
Paradigma Baru: Isu Strategis
Keunggulan yang harus dibentuk:
• Program: program pendidikan seni (tradition and modernity), jalur dan jenjang, pelembagaan, penjaminan mutu & akreditasi
(termasuk sertifikasi profesi nasional dan internasional).
• SDM: dosen dan tenaga penunjang, peningkatan kualifikasi, pengakuan pengalaman lapangan, sertifikasi (maestro, empu).
• Penelitian: pengembangan fokus penelitian dan kekaryaan seni (tradition and modernity), bersifat lintas bidang ilmu, lintas budaya,
lintas regional dan negara.
Paradigma Baru: Isu Strategis
Kesehatan Lembaga:
• Capacity Building: efisiensi, good governance, kendali dan penjaminan mutu, organisasi kesejawatan (dalam dan luar negeri),
penataan fungsi dan otoritas struktural, keberlanjutan (maintenance and sustainability).
• Kolaborasi internal dan eksternal: antara institusi pendidikan seni dengan institusi pendidikan guru seni, lintas bidang studi, kerjasama
penciptaan, pengkajian, dan konservasi, antar institusi, lintas budaya, lintas negara.

Pencipta Seni: Memiliki kemampuan untuk menuangkan ide
dan konsep seni ke dalam berbagai bentuk karya seni
