    Carmel-by-the-Sea: Victim reported loss of a bracelet. Lastseen Feb. 14 while staying at a resort in Santa Ynez. Reportingparty remembered placing the bracelet in its navy blue box in thehotel room safe. RP did not recall if it was collected when the

    Carmel-by-the-Sea: Victim reported loss of bracelet, yellowmetal with clear gemstones (similar to charm bracelet) whilewalking on the pedestrian walkway along Scenic Road on March1. If located, please notify reporting party (family heirloom).

    Carmel-by-the-Sea: Reporting party found a loose dog onTorres Street and brought it to the station. The dog was scannedand had a chip. The owner was notified, paid kennel fees, and thedog was released.

    Carmel-by-the-Sea: Ambulance responded Code 3 to bicy-clist vs. deer in Pebble Beach, at Congress and Lopez Road at1034 hours. On arrival, patient conscious, alert and oriented,answering all questions appropriately. Patient with positive lossof consciousness on impact. Patient was treated and transportedCode 2 to CHOMP without further incidents or negativechanges according to Monterey County ALS protocols.

    Carmel-by-the-Sea: Ambulance was dispatched to CarmelMiddle School for a possible 5150 hold. MCSO decided not toput the patient on a hold and ambulance transported the patientCode 2 to Natividad Medical Center for ER evaluation.

    Big Sur: Person wanted to report that his roommate went ona day hike and has not returned home.

    Carmel area: A 10-year-old female ran from her fostermother after acting out.

    MONDAY, MARCH 3

    Carmel-by-the-Sea: A citizen reported a seal on the beachnear the rock embankment below scenic and 11th. The officerresponded and posted marine mammal caution signs to notifydog owners. The young elephant seal appeared to be a littleunderweight; however, no injuries were noted. It appeared to beresting. The Marine Mammal Center employees arrived, and dueto the location of the seal and dog activity on the beach, theyrelocated the seal to the Point Lobos area.

    Carmel-by-the-Sea: Reporting party said that his computerwas taken from the back seat of his unlocked vehicle while itwas parked on Fifth Avenue. Later, the computer was found inanother car’s back seat and brought to the station. Computer
