  • SAP R/3 & ARXivar Connector

    http://www.arxivar.it/http://www.arxivar.it/

  • The integration between SAP R/3 and ARXivar allows direct access to any document management function directly from SAP GUI

    http://www.arxivar.it/http://www.arxivar.it/

  • Archivelink Allows the integration of business objects with the images of registered documents, so that you can:

View documents directly from the screen in SAP

Integrate them in the economic process

    Run authorization logics

  • Depending on the scenario, there are various communication methods between SAP and external systems.

    http://www.arxivar.it/http://www.arxivar.it/

  • SAP Archivelink-HTTP content

    Server communication

HTTP server calls from SAP the external archiving system

BAPI (RFC) calls from the external system to notify the document and the corresponding barcode.

  • Client communication: SAP Archivelink-HTTP content

OLE calls from SAPGUI the archiving system of the Internet browser through

document URL to the HTTP of the server

    Call of SAP internal viewer

  • Archivelink Outgoing documents

    Documents generated in SAP that can be archived are: print lists; SAPscript and SAPform archive files;

    The archiving logic:

    - Direct archiving of document images directly printed from SAP

applications; - Integration of the document

    image for every business object

  • Archivelink Incoming documents

There are three ways to archive incoming documents: 1) Archiving with SAP workflow : image acquisition triggers the

process 2) Archiving with barcode and SAP workflow : image

    acquisition triggers the process

    3) Archiving with barcode

    http://www.arxivar.it/http://www.arxivar.it/

  • Archiving with barcode

EXTERNAL BARCODE : an external system prints the barcode. At the time of document registration in SAP, a popup asks the user for the barcode. INTERNAL BARCODE: the barcode is determined from SAP at the time of registration; the saving of the document automatically prints the label.

For ARXivar we chose the barcode management

  • Documents interception

Data sent to external document management system, for example ARXivar, are contained in an IDOC created by SAP when recording one of the documents for the electronic storage.

When the document is saved, besides the link to the barcode, the system creates an IDOC that is sent from the interface to the external system. Data contained in the IDoc can be freely defined.

    EXTERNAL DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT

    SAP

  • To archive incoming documents we chose the barcode management:

Set by an external system for the delivery notes; Set by SAP for the invoices

As soon as documents are archived, SAP automatically creates an IDOC which is sent to ARXivar. These data are used to create a profile linked to the image of the document. This connection triggers a Workflow that sends an IDOC to the interface thus closing barcodes for the incoming documents, and linking documents in a SAP table with the relative image in ARXivar.
