An important part of the curriculum in our school is applied learning which occurs in our Foodservice outlets and kitchens. In order to participate in these courses it is mandatory that you have valid certification in Food Safety or Safe Food Handling. Please follow the instructions below: I have a valid Food Safety or Safe Food Handling Certificate If you already hold a valid certificate through your Local Health Unit or a nationally recognized certificate: Scan or Fax a copy of your certificate to the School of Tourism & Hospitality before September 1, 2011. o Fax to the attention of: M r. STEP 3 Search & Register for Continuing Education Courses (no need to include Search For/Key Word or Location) Course Code Number - type in SANI-9001 - Submit STEP 4 Select Classes (Do not be concerned about Meeting Information or Start/End Dates. This is an online course.) Select SANI-9001-01 Sanitation & Safety - Register Now STEP 5 Additional Registration Info Reason for Taking/How You Learned of This Class (Disregard) - Submit STEP 6 Electronic Card Entry Enter credit card information - Submit

After you have registered for the course we will send you a copy of the course textbook. Accessing your Course once you are registered: It will take about 24 hours after you register for your Fanshawe Online (FOL) Account to be set up.

Read all modules carefully, beginning with: Welcome to SANI 9001. It will provide you all the information you need to be successful with this course.
