An important part of the curriculum in our school is applied learning which occurs in our Foodservice outlets and kitchens. In order to participate in these courses it is mandatory that you have valid certification in Food Safety or Safe Food Handling. Please follow the instructions below: I have a valid Food Safety or Safe Food Handling Certificate If you already hold a valid certificate through your Local Health Unit or a nationally recognized certificate: Scan or Fax a copy of your certificate to the School of Tourism & Hospitality before September 1, 2011.

The following On-line course must be completed prior to your arrival on campus on September 6, 2011. The Exam will be scheduled during your first week of classes. Below is the registration information you will require. The Fee for this course is special for Tourism & Hospitality Students at Fanshawe only and covers the cost of your Sanitation book and the NFSTP Exam.

This is an online course.) After you have registered for the course we will send you a copy of the course textbook. Accessing your Course once you are registered: It will take about 24 hours after you register for your Fanshawe Online (FOL) Account to be set up.
