VENPRONTO MEXICO Volume 1, Issue 7 Intercessory Missionary: Maya Bey INTERNSHIPS As mentioned in my last brief update, we recently finished our second internship of the year and it was a huge success by the grace of God. A total of 20 people came ranging between the ages of 13 and 40 and from many different churches as well as backgrounds of how they came to know the Lord. Yet despite all of the dif ferences the Spirit of God united each and everyone that by the end one would believe that they all came from the same church. They all came hungry to learn and to hear from the Lord and though they might have been hesitant in the beginning as to what they could possibly receive out of this week-long experience, they each left with a heart desiring for more of the Lord and to know him more as their Savior and King, desiring to give themselves over to a lifestyle of prayer and fastin g. One of the most shocking testimonies was made by a 16 year old boy who had no desire to come but by the end had received healing in his heart with a freshne ss to go hard after th e Lord. In two weeks time we will be hosting our third internship of the year, but unlike the other two the dynamic will be quite different since it will be a group of 25 people coming from the same church in Salamanca, Irapuato, Mexico. The goal and desire of the House of Prayer remains the same, that through t hese few days they will have a deeper revelation and desperation in their heart to fulfill the first commandment and this in turn will affect the rest of their lives and the lives of o thers. Pray that the Lord will  prepare their hearts to receive the word of God and that we the staff will also be prepared to pour ourselves out  for the glory of God in our brother and sister’s lives.  FULL-TIME This past month Betty Beatriz one of the members of the church, joined the full-time staff in the House of Prayer. She has only been full-time for about 2 weeks but it has already been a huge bless ing to so many. Not only is it a great example to the body of Christ to see one of their own members giving their lives to the will of God, but also a huge blessing to the current VENPRONTO team. As the Lord continues to open and open doors, that includes much more work and responsibility and at times it can be a bit stressful when there aren’t enough people to do the work. So we praise God for the life of Betty not only for what she can do in t erms of work but for her heart in intercession and prayer to see the glory of God and his kingdom here on the e arth. So these past weeks we have also increased in the hours of prayer times and currently we have over 100 h ours a week. All the day time hours have been covered and we are now praying that the Lord will send those who are willing to dedicate their time and life to the Night watch, praying in the night from 12 am to 6 am. Pray that the Lord will  provide financially for Betty to continue to be full-time and pray that the Lord will provide those who want to give their lives over to keeping the fire burning at night through prayer and worship. Intercessory Missionary: Maya Bey

INTERNSHIPS

As mentioned in my last brief update, we recently finished

our second internship of the year and it was a huge

success by the grace of God. A total of 20 people came

ranging between the ages of 13 and 40 and from many

different churches as well as backgrounds of how they

came to know the Lord. Yet despite all of the differences

the Spirit of God united each and everyone that by the

end one would believe that they all came from the same

church. They all came hungry to learn and to hear from

the Lord and though they might have been hesitant in the

beginning as to what they could possibly receive out of

this week-long experience, they each left with a heart

desiring for more of the Lord and to know him more as

their Savior and King, desiring to give themselves over to

a lifestyle of prayer and fasting. One of the most shocking

testimonies was made by a 16 year old boy who had no

desire to come but by the end had received healing in his

heart with a freshness to go hard after the Lord.

In two weeks time we will be hosting our third internship

of the year, but unlike the other two the dynamic will be

quite different since it will be a group of 25 people coming

from the same church in Salamanca, Irapuato, Mexico.

The goal and desire of the House of Prayer remains the

same, that through these few days they will have a deeper

revelation and desperation in their heart to fulfill the first

commandment and this in turn will affect the rest of their

lives and the lives of others. Pray that the Lord will

prepare their hearts to receive the word of God and that

we the staff will also be prepared to pour ourselves out

for the glory of God in our brother and sister’s lives.

FULL-TIME

This past month Betty Beatriz one of the members of th

church, joined the full-time staff in the House of Prayer. She has only been full-time for about 2 weeks but it has

already been a huge blessing to so many. Not only is it

great example to the body of Christ to see one of their

own members giving their lives to the will of God, but

also a huge blessing to the current VENPRONTO team.

As the Lord continues to open and open doors, that

includes much more work and responsibility and at

times it can be a bit stressful when there aren’t enough

people to do the work. So we praise God for the life of

Betty not only for what she can do in terms of work but

for her heart in intercession and prayer to see the glory

of God and his kingdom here on the earth. So these pas

weeks we have also increased in the hours of prayer

times and currently we have over 100 hours a week. Al

the day time hours have been covered and we are now

praying that the Lord will send those who are willing to

dedicate their time and life to the Night watch, praying

in the night from 12 am to 6 am. Pray that the Lord wil

provide financially for Betty to continue to be full-time

and pray that the Lord will provide those who want to

give their lives over to keeping the fire burning at nigh

through prayer and worship.

UPCOMING EVENTS:

This year has been quite busy with the increase in internships, preaching engagements as well as the normal tasks of the

House of Prayer. Currently we are adding another area to the House of Prayer which will be called the Good Samaritan. T

will be an area focused on evangelism and praying for the sick. The Lord has open up a door to the biggest hospital in

Cuernavaca, in which we have access to go and pray for the sick. We are currently building teams that will go to the hospi

once or twice a week to pray for the patients and to preach the gospel. We are praying to see miracles and wonders as th

gospel is shared. Pray that the Lord will continue to prepare the hearts of those that will go and that they will be faithfu

to pray for the patients throughout the week so that the Holy Spirit will go ahead of them before a word is shared.

We are still preparing for the informative meetings that we will have with the whole church to participate in the project o

VIDA (LIFE), praying for the end of abortion in all of Mexico. And we will be having our first prayer siege on the first Saturd

in September. This is a huge project that will be used to unite the body of Christ in Cuernavaca in prayer for the Lord’s

justice. Pray that we will continue to live pure and holy lives so that we will have the authority to pray against somethi

that is so prevalent and dangerous in Mexico, the spirit of death. Pray also that as we seek the Lord’s justice we w ill no

forget the main focus, that He is glorified and that we learn to love him more.

Day to Day Life as a Missionary:

This past June 15, was the 2.5 year mark of my stay here in Mexico. This past month many different changes have occurre

and many different experiences have been shared. Though it does NOT feel like I arrived yesterday still it amazes me that

the Lord has showered his mercy and grace so that I could be allowed to live in a foreign country, become a full-time

missionary in the House of Prayer, make new friends, learn about another part of the body of Christ, overcome some of m

own fears and last but not least be able to continuously speak, teach, pray and sing in a language that is not my own. One

of my best-friends asked me if I had expected to see myself here in Mexico 5 years ago and I can honestly say NO! More

than anything is that over these past 2 and half years I have experienced the surprises that the Lord throws our way as we

desire to seek his face. God never promises that a life in him would be easy but I can honestly say that he greatly exceeds

our expectations in what we desire and hope for in this life. He is the good shepherd that guides us every step of the way

when we allow him to be completely in control of our lives. I believe that this upcoming month and the rest of this year w

be a season to go deeper in seeking after His heart and His kingdom and really learning what it means to surrender over m

own free will in order to completely die to myself and to live for Christ. And I pray that over the next few months I can joi

with Paul in his prayer to the Philippians:

But whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss compare

to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish,

that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which

through faith in Christ —the righteousness that comes from God and is by faith. I want to know Christ and the power of his

resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, to attain t

the resurrection from the dead.

Personal Prayer Request:

That the Lord will give me courage to continue to preach in Spanish.

That my Spanish skills will continue to improve and I will become more fluent.

That the Lord will continue to provide financially as I am currently living in a new place which is slightly more

expensive.

That there will be grace to adjust more and more into a culture that is not my own, lying down my life and desires

for the glory of God in the body of Christ in Mexico.

I hope that you enjoyed this update. If you are interested in learning more about this ministry, or if you would like to
