San Diego is incorporating wind and solar energy into everyday life. This is a green alternative to coal produced energy we use in West Virginia.

Russia uses hydropower for some of their energy. This form of energy uses water from dams to generate energy. We also use this type of energy as we are very rich in water resources.

San Diego and Russia both use solar power as a type of energy. In our area we don’t use solar power on a large scale. Although some places have personal solar panels to generate electricity.
