Sacred Heart Catholic Church Fifth Sunday of Easter –May 14, 2017 Reflection from the Pastor: Let us go before the tabernacle and find ourselves anew with Him, that He may see us and recognize us. We can speak to Him as his disciples did, and tell Him what excites us and what worries us. And we will always find Him attentive toward us and our needs. We will never find a listener as attentive, as well disposed for what we tell Him or ask (From Antología de Textos by Francisco Fernandez-Carvajal, p. 384).” We have a great treasure in this parish: Jesus Christ present in the Blessed Sacrament. He is with us every day, waiting for us to visit. Do you want to know Jesus better or is something worrying you? He is waiting for you in the tabernacle. Do you want to worship Him, but don’t know how? Come to Eucharistic Adoration and see how much he loves you. We always need faithful men and women who want to pass an hour with the Lord. Sacred Heart Catholic Church Fifth Sunday of Easter –May 14, 2017

Reflection from the Pastor:

“Let us go before the tabernacle and find ourselves anew with Him, that He

may see us and recognize us. We can speak to Him as his disciples did, and

tell Him what excites us and what worries us. And we will always find Him

attentive toward us and our needs. We will never find a listener as attentive,

as well disposed for what we tell Him or ask (From Antología de Textos by

Francisco Fernandez-Carvajal, p. 384).”

We have a great treasure in this parish: Jesus Christ present in the

Blessed Sacrament. He is with us every day, waiting for us to visit. Do you

want to know Jesus better or is something worrying you? He is waiting for

you in the tabernacle. Do you want to worship Him, but don’t know how?

Come to Eucharistic Adoration and see how much he loves you. We always

need faithful men and women who want to pass an hour with the Lord. Is He

calling you?

Know on FORMED! On January 12th, 2010, a

magnitude 7.0 earthquake struck

Haiti, bringing devastation to an already impoverished

nation. Against this backdrop, two American organizations

stepped in to provide aid. Facing political corruption and the

threat of failure, Project Medishare successfully set up

clinics for the victims, and the Knights of Columbus

ensured that prosthetics limbs would be made available for

every young amputee. At times a searing analysis of the

post-earthquake horrors and Haiti's turbulent history, and at

times a poignant sports story about overcoming

insurmountable odds, Unbreakable: A Story of Hope and

Healing in Haiti ultimately a powerful reminder of the

triumph of the human spirit, and of how the bonds of hope

are oftentimes born out of the shackles of despair.

¿Quieres alabarle y no sabes

cómo? Ven a la adoración eucarística y ve cómo te quiere. Siempre necesitamos personas fieles que quieren pasar una hora con

el Señor. ¿Te llama?
