**Bible Study
God reveals himself to us through the Bible. We
come to know Him and ourselves be!er when we study
the Word. Sr. Brigid O'Mahony and Fr. Brian break open
the meaning of Scripture and how we can apply it to our
lives. No experience is necessary - we encourage everyone
to join us. Bring a Bible - bring a friend! The next mee#ng
will be October 8 and 15th Where: Media Room Please
consider bringing a friend and joining us!

to let us know when a parishioner is hospitalized or in need of visita-
tion or anointing of the sick. PLEASE call the parish office when a
loved one is in need. 468-1803. Thank you!

Volunteers Needed at St. Camillus
We need volunteers at St. Camillus to help with Rosary on Mondays
from about 10:30 to 11:30, and some Eucharistic ministers to serve
on some of the units. Anyone interested could come and help a cou-
ple of times to see if they are interested in becoming a volun-
teer. For Rosary on Mondays we need transport help. People might
also help leading the Rosary. An extra Eucharistic minister would
also help at Rosary. Call me for questions/details at 315-468-2283
([email protected]), or call Candace Lawrence, the Pastoral
Care Director at St. Camillus directly at 315-488-2951.
Save the Date!! September 28th at noon we will be hosting a “Silver
Luncheon” for any of our seniors that would like to attend.
In the Media Room at St. Ann’s. No charge, just come and enjoy!
Please RSVP to the rectory @ 468-1803. We hope to see you there!
Being an Altar Server is a wonderful way for our parish youth to
serve God’s people and to participate in Mass. While we have many
servers from grade 3 through 12 we can always use more to replen-
ish those who have graduated. If your son or daughter is interested
in being trained, please contact me at 468-2283 or

You Did It for Me
Conflict continues to plague Afghanistan, forcing many peo-ple away from their homes and children away from their schools. But thanks to Catholic Relief Services and the Af-ghan Ministry of Education, more than 23,000 children are being given the opportunity to find solace through engaging workshops and activities as a way to deal with trauma and to develop their education.
“Act justly, love tenderly, and walk humbly with your God.” Micah 6:8

Respect Life
Remember that all life is precious: “A society truly wel-
comes life when it recognizes that it is also precious in
old age, in disability, in serious illness...when it teaches
that the call to human fulfillment does not exclude suf-
fering; when it teaches its members to see in the sick
and suffering a gift for the entire community.

Help support Father James
Father James visited our Parish this summer and told us about his
work in Kenya. We have decided to help Father James and his
school for girls. Father James and one other Priest serve 50 church-
es, and try to save the lives of young girls who would otherwise be
sold into marriages and other dangerous situations. Your contribu-
tions will help provide the girls boarding at the school and their edu-
cation. K-7 Faith formation will be supporting them
throughout this year.
