Happy St. Patrick’s and St. Joseph’s Day
Every year during Lent we celebrate the Feasts of St. Patrick and St. Joseph, two great and powerful saints. March 17 is the Feast Day St. Patrick of Ireland and he is one of the world's most popular saints. Patrick was a humble, pious, gentle man, whose love and total devotion to and trust in God should be a shining example to each of us. Pray this beautiful prayer today with the intention of growing closer to Jesus: St. Patrick’s Breastplate Prayer Christ with me, Christ before me, Christ behind me, Christ within me, Christ beneath me, Christ above me, Christ at my right, Christ at my left, Christ in the heart of everyone who thinks of me, Christ in the mouth of everyone who speaks to me, Christ in every eye that sees me, Christ in every ear that hears me. Salvation is from the Lord. March 19th is the Feast of St. Joseph, the husband of Mary and the foster father of Our Lord. Everything we know about St. Joseph comes to us from Scripture. He was of the family of David and was a compassionate, caring, and righteous man. We know Joseph loved Jesus. His one concern was for the safety of this child entrusted to him, and for the Blessed Mother. Joseph is the patron saint of the dying, the Universal Church, families, fathers, expectant mothers (pregnant women), travelers, immigrants, house sellers and buyers, craftsmen, engineers, and working people in general. Novena Prayer to St. Joseph St. Joseph, whose protection is so great, so strong, so prompt before the throne of God, I place in you all my interests and desires. Oh St. Joseph, do assist me by your powerful intercession and obtain for me from your divine son all spiritual blessings through Jesus Christ, our Lord; so that having engaged here below your heavenly power, I may offer my thanksgiving and homage to the most loving of Fathers. Oh St. Joseph, I never weary contemplating you and Jesus asleep in your arms. I dare not approach while he reposes near your heart. Press Him in my name and kiss his fine head for me and ask him to return the kiss when I draw my dying breath. St. Joseph, patron of departing souls, pray for us. Amen
God Bless you and your family, Fr Vince

Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish 2019 Lenten Program Bishop Robert Barron’s Conversion: Following the Call of Christ
The Lenten Season is a season of Conversion. Conversion is a life-long process of turning one’s attention and energy toward an ever-deepening relationship with Christ. It is not too late to join us and invite family, neighbors, and friends as we begin the DVD-based program, Conversion: Following the Call of Christ, presented by Bishop Robert Barron. Using six stories from the Bible, Bishop Barron demonstrates how ordinary, sinful people like us are met by Jesus and called to a better life through him. We offer 3 sessions, Tuesday mornings, at 10:00 a.m., in the Our Lady of Grace Chapel in Lindenwold (Next to St. Lawrence School), Thursday evenings, at 6:30 p.m., in St. Luke Church and Monday evenings (in Spanish) at 7:00 p.m. in St. Luke Church.

CATHOLIC STRONG
We have been talking about the Catholic
Strong Campaign for almost a year now and the time has finally arrived for our in-pew solicitation. I am so grateful that approximately 60 parishioners have
already contributed close to $300,000 to this effort, and again report that 70% of funds raised will come back here to the parish. We have many needs, both
pastorally to spread the faith as well as physically for the maintenance and upkeep of our buildings and grounds. Your Grandparents and Parents built the
Churches of St. Lawrence, Our Lady of Grace, and St. Luke, and now it is our turn to be Catholic Strong and to insure the continued growth of our parish of Our
Lady of Guadalupe. The Catholic Strong In-Pew Solicitation Weekend is the weekend of March 30-31st.
If all the 4,000 plus families who are registered in our parish contributed, we would l easily make our goal. Please pray about the kind of sacrifice you can make as you help Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish to remain
Catholic Strong.
Catolico Fuerte
