The event was extremely spectacular that it left the audience virtually spell bound and achieved the set out purpose of bringing Gujarati music closer to the hearts of the Gujarati diaspora settled here in Oman. Such was the impact of the melodious, rhythmic singing of the lone male singer Tushar Trivedi and the two female singers Priya Panchal & Chaula Sodha that hardly anyone from the audience left the hall till the last rendition was sung.

For the first time ever an event of this nature was organized by the Muscat Gujarati Samaj (MGS) in Oman and it left such a mesmerizing impact on the entire audience and all dignitaries present.

On the sidelines of the Event, MGS also unveiled by Mr. Kiran Asher, Mr. Anil Wadher, Mr. Bakul Mehta, & Mr. Rajendra Ved with its new logo which represents the refreshing change and infusion of new ideas that has been seen over the past few year. The design of the new logo has been inspired by the support & creative back-up provided by the Vishwa Gujarati Samaj.

This one of kind event was brought to Oman by the Muscat Gujarati Samaj in association with Rangat Production, a joint venture of Suyash Setpal, Amit Mehta & Chandresh Shah. Also, an event of this magnanimity would not have been possible without the support of whole-hearted sponsors like Muscat Pharmacy, Khimji Ramdas, New India Assurnce, Omzest, Al Rawahi International, General Automotive Company, Lakhoo’s, Malabar Gold, Al Ansari Trading, Intisar Corporation, Simplex Infrastructure, Apollo Clinic, NIFCO, Saijo Denki, Purshottam Kanji Exchange, Bank of Baroda, Puranmal & Biryani House & Well Wishers.

The forthcoming attractive events lined up by MGS are Fashion Ka Jalwa (Fashion Show) on 22nd March, Parichay Sammelan on 5th April, Gujarat Day Celebrations on 2nd & 3rd May followed by the AGM on 10th May 2013 & Hon.
