This report covers the prospecting work carried out starting in the summer of 2000 to present including staking claims-1237148,1237149 and 1237150 in Baxter Twp. After staking claims blasting was done and samples taken to M.T.O. for testing. Further site infestation was also done upon rock formation.

May 26, 2000

After meeting with David Marek of Marek Engineering Inc. and walking the old quarry site at Killbear. I conclude that selling rock on the great lakes was the best possible use for HL stone in the Parry Sound area. Conclusion reached by David and myself that Metra-Arkose rock was perfect for HL stone. M.T.O. had tested this quarry rock in the 70's and it had passed for HL stone. When I drove to Sudbury to the Provincial Recording office I discovered that James Trusler had mine claims on this quarry property. Iday- SI 80.00 Milage-96km S 33.60

June 01,2000

I looked at maps and rock types of the area, starting with highway 559 , 3 stops in particular of similar rock types, concluded that they were not worth bothering with.

Drove and walked the south side of the 559 quarry. Rock was gness, but to close to cottages.

June 16, 2000

After studying map, a trip was made to Kilarney following rock types 24A and 24B down highway 632 to Kilarney. Samples were then taken to M.T.O. Downsview. By phone received call that stone looked good. In talking to Lands for Life, I concluded that a quarry would be hard to open in this area.
