More than 500 delegates from Mor-ris County were in attendance at thestate-wide Democratic Conventionheld in the Auditorium at Asbury jPark last Saturday afternoon.

Bus delegations from Boonton,Butler, Chatham, Dover, Madison,Morristown and Wharton, left thepark at Morristown at 10:30 withstate trooper escort. A large numberof other Morris delegates made thetrip by private cars. The delegationwas made up mainly of Democraticcounty committee and election boardmembers representing every sectionof the county. The delegation wasled by Prank C. Scerbo. chairman ofthe Morris County Democratic Com-mittee.

At the Berkley-Cateret, MorrisCounty delegates were the guests ofthe state committeeman, Orville V.Meslar, at a buflet luncheon.

The convention gave a popularratification of the nomination ofHon. A. Harry Moore, Democraticcandidate for Governor. William L.Dill presided as the permanent chair-man of the convention. The proceed-ings embraced a thorough discussionof important issues of the forthcom-ing campaign.
