Oil Sands Outlook
• Oil production is expected to rise from the current 1.8 million pbd to 6 9 million bpd over the next 20 yearsmillion pbd to 6.9 million bpd over the next 20 years.
• It is expected that as many as 53,000 operational jobs could exist in the region. g
• The projected population for 2030 is almost 250,000 people.
