Feedback from the evaluation forms Positive feedbacks: - EVAR 2 person per station - Very nice hands-on training, very nice & helpful tutors - Nice, helpful instructors - Expert instructors with teaching enthusiasm - Generally, all over it is fabulous & comprehensive - We met very nice person from different countries - Experienced vascular surgeons being tutors, fun + non stressful - We met good people from different countries - Very co-operative & professional instructor team Points that should be improved: - More frequent workshops - Increase the time to give more chances of practising - More hand-on in the open procedures as we had no much time for practising fem-pop bypass - Models - Stress on standard techniques, if the manual could be distributed earlier - Models - Copy of CDs for the teaching session if possible to be given to the attendants - Models & time

Oral Feedback after the workshop in Riyadh Modells: Good quality but skin should be more flexible A modell for endovascular training on the leg should be created Both should be trained: computer modell where you see the endograft marks and reality modells to learn the handling of endografts. Teaching sessions: Lectures during the workshops are helpful Handbook should be available before the course so that reading is possible Tutors: Quality good, rotation of the tutors is ok Duration and topics of workshop: 4 days were ok. The combination of simple operations with complex surgery and open versus endovascular was a challange. It was also difficult to teach because the skills of the participants were very heterogenous (persons without any experience - professionals) Consensus was that open and endovascular procedures should be taught. Assessments: Only a few participants want to have a formal assessment after the workshop in order to show a qualification. A workshop without assessments allows a straightforward teaching acitivity without the pressure of a selection and helps to improve the teaching environment.
