Rules and Conditions of Entry Hard hats marked PAS015, EN1384 must be worn by riders at all times. We strongly advise that body protectors be worn in all jumping classes. Sensible footwear must be worn when mounted or handling horses. All horses / ponies must be 4 and over.
The judges’ decision is final in all classes; any objections must be accompanied by a £30 deposit and made in writing to the Secretary within 20 minutes of the class ending. This deposit will be forfeit if the complaint is not upheld. Entry fees will not be returned without a vet’s or doctor’s certificate. The organisers reserve the right to cancel or alter classes or to refuse entry without stating a reason. Cantering or galloping on the showground is strictly forbidden except in the designated warm-up areas. Whips and spurs are not permitted in the gymkhana events. Neither the landowner nor the organisers accept any responsibility or liability for any loss, damage, accident, and injury to any person, property or animal. The organisers have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers, officials and stewards.
